I delivered my first son 3 years ago and could not have asked for better pediatricians. Anytime my sons are sick, they always squeeze us in the same day-- which is great because nothing is worse than a sick baby! My sons are at ease with both doctors and the staff. Dr. Ortiz is very bubbly and expressive and Dr. Macabobby is so sweet and has a calming nature. Both doctors are extremely caring and respectful of a parent's wishes. But my overall visit was so disappointing. I do not have insurance, so I had to save up to be able to see a ENT specialist. Once the DR came in, I felt extremely rushed. I needed to explain what has been going on for quite some time with my ears/jaw and throat. I had concerns and questions, but felt unable to have a conversation with him. I politely asked if I could quickly explain to him what brought me in there. He said yes, but then started using a loud device (like a vacuum maybe?) in my ear. All he heard from that was that I had an ear infection. I don't anymore, and that's not why I came to him. With the most recent issue, I've been twice to urgent care and once to the ER. I was so looking forward to this appointment and finally getting answers on how to move forward. Once he realized I don't have an ear infection, that was that. Nobody was rude, however i was rushed out of there and felt dismissed. The whole appointment lasted maybe 5 minutes. This was a total waste of money. Also the owner response to reviews saying they will sue you (and Google lol) if you post a review. So now I'm going to post everywhere I can.

Then without any further diagnosis told me to lay down face down. I communicated my discomfort but it was ignored. I asked him to discuss the problem and strategy with me before making any adjustments, but he just started pushing me into positions anyway. The next two days my pain and stress increased dramatically and I was immobilized for a week until I could see a professional. To make things worse, he and half of his staff were not wearing masks, the nurses said "it's a personal choice" (despite it being the law in ohio) and "you don't want to talk about that here" quite dismissively. This poor experience, contrasted with the wonderful treatment and service I found elsewhere, proved to me that there is a wide spectrum of quality in chiropractic care, and to better vet people that claim to be doctors.

I've never really reviewed anything…read moreother than a restaurant on here, but I figured I would say something on here in case anyone is trying to find a pediatric cardiologist for their child or them self. Dr. Saalouke knows his stuff! I have been going to Dr. Saalouke since I was 3 months old. I am now 22. Still I go for checkups at least once a year, and I actually look forward it. I really do love everyone there and I could never say enough amazing things about them all. They've all been there for me since the beginning. First off, not only is Dr. Saalouke a fantastic doctor, he's a great guy. You can tell that he actually truly cares about his patients. Marcy, the echo tech, is awesome and so sweet. They are both so good at what they do. When you call up, more than likely you'll get Diane. She's great too and very helpful. If you are looking for a good pediatric cardiologist in the Youngstown area, give Dr. Saalouke's office a call. I am sure that he would point you in the direction of an excellent pediatric cardio thorasic surgeon or recommend another great doctor if he doesn't specialize in what your child has. I could never thank anyone there enough for all that they have done for me.
