Dr. Saalouke knows his stuff! I have been going to Dr. Saalouke since I was 3 months old. I am now 22. Still I go for checkups at least once a year, and I actually look forward it. I really do love everyone there and I could never say enough amazing things about them all. They've all been there for me since the beginning. First off, not only is Dr. Saalouke a fantastic doctor, he's a great guy. You can tell that he actually truly cares about his patients. Marcy, the echo tech, is awesome and so sweet. They are both so good at what they do. When you call up, more than likely you'll get Diane. She's great too and very helpful. If you are looking for a good pediatric cardiologist in the Youngstown area, give Dr. Saalouke's office a call. I am sure that he would point you in the direction of an excellent pediatric cardio thorasic surgeon or recommend another great doctor if he doesn't specialize in what your child has. I could never thank anyone there enough for all that they have done for me.

She will leave you on hold a minimum of 45 minutes each time you call and is never pleasant. She goes out of her way to be rude and if you ask to leave a message for the dr she refuses. Sadly as great as he is his staff will be the reason we go elsewhere. I would not recommend his office AT ALL based on this staff.

The next thing I know is, I received a letter from Dr. Kraft informing me I was no longer welcome to see any doctor at the facility across from the hospital on Belmont Ave. in Youngstown Ohio!!

I can tell her anything that's going on, and she listens, asks questions, discusses symptoms and other info to get a good idea of what's happening, then gives changes we can try, schedules appointments for X-rays, tests, or other necessary procedures. Dr visits here are not scary! Compassion and knowledge are the norm.
