Booked Escape The Room Texas for a corporate team-building event with a group of 15 and we had an absolute blast! It was fun, challenging, and had everyone working together and laughing. Such a great experience for bringing a team together! read more

We dropped in on a Saturday afternoon with no prior reservation and there were three rooms immediately available for us to escape from. The place is a little difficult to find at first, but once we found it Oscar took great care of us. He gave a very brief run down of each room available and gave us clear instructions once we were in the room. While escape rooms are not my first choice of group activity, the unexpected twists and turns of the room we were in turned out to be a lot of fun. We found that some of the steps to completing the room were unintuitive and we needed hints to progress. I would recommend if you're looking for a team building activity for a small group (8 people max maybe). read more

This was my second time doing an escape room and this one I must say I thoroughly enjoyed... Service was informative and helpful... Location was easy to access... Highly recommend this escape room... read more

Escape The Room Texas - Escape Games Near Me - Houston, Texas

While the room concept of Jurassic Park was very cool, the room and instructor were sub par. There were clues that were not placed back in the correct spot after the previous group completed the room, and upon asking for clues, the instructor did not know what we had done, found, and was clearly not paying attention. Further, there was at least 3+ times we received the explanation "that's broken," "that hasn't been working since last week," or "that's finicky and doesn't always respond." I wouldn't recommend this room to anyone looking to enjoy their time. read more

It was fun! Matthew was super accommodating even though we were walk ins! Give him a raise. He's the one. The Dig was an adventurous experience! The clues were very helpful. read more

We've been to dozens of escape rooms in the Houston area, and some others in Texas. At this location, we've done The Rec Room and Jurassic Park. The issues we've had with both rooms have come to define the phrase "pet peeve" for me as it relates to escape rooms. In both cases, elements of the room were malfunctioning. This should warrant a refund every time it happens, especially considering we're paying well over $100 for an hour of time. This is my first negative review of an escape room. Most recently, the Jurassic Park had several malfunctioning elements, and was the biggest problem. In close second was the host, who interrupted us CONSTANTLY, giving us unasked-for clues. He interrupted the flow of the game, commenting on things we were trying and offering "tips," some commenting on our tactics and some that were made necessary only because of the weaknesses of the set-up itself. This destroyed both the ambiance and the normal flow of the game, prevented our own communication with each other, and was distracting. It was like he wanted to join us in there and was blissfully impervious to sarcasm. He just soldiered on, clinging to us every step of the way. He had to tend to another room a couple times, and he announced this fact each time, then announced his return. It was just non-stop. We always attempt the room with as few clues as possible. The initial layout/decor of the room was promising, and the concept interesting, but, at minimum, 3 of the elements were broken/not functioning as intended, were finicky, unworkable, or anachronistic to the theme (think dog chew toy in a science lab - not a real spoiler, FYIW), which was as bad or worse than the constant interference of the "host." I should thank him, though, because the next time this happens, I'm demanding a refund. The room in general did not flow in a logical way. After dealing with similar malfunctions in The Rec Room, we should have learned our lesson. He also kept us waiting past our scheduled time, past the late grace window as well, because he was on the phone. There are much better rooms out there. I cannot recommend Immersive Bird rooms enough and The Escape Game (Galleria and one other place) is great, too. read more

Good design and decor. Puzzle variety. Ability for your group to divide and conquer by having puzzles not all require to be in sequence.

Great experience. Very nice staff members. Anabel was amazing and wonderful. Thank you for a incredible time. read more

We had such an amazing time here! Our group did The Agency and The Theater rooms, and both were super creative, challenging in the best way, and honestly so much fun. The puzzles were clever without being impossible, and the theming made it really easy to get into the story. You can tell a lot of thought went into the details. Huge shoutout and thank you to Omar and Trinity - they were awesome from start to finish. Friendly, patient, and really added to the overall experience. They explained everything clearly and made us feel excited and confident going in. We'll definitely be back to try more rooms. Highly recommend! ‍ read more

5 Stars - Annabelle was amazing! We did an escape room today and had the BEST experience thanks to Annabelle! From the moment we walked in, she was super friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even more fun. She explained everything clearly, gave just the right amount of clues when we needed them, and honestly, her energy made the room feel even more exciting. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it made a big difference. Definitely ask for Annabelle if you want your escape room experience to be top-tier. Thank you again!! read more

Kendall was great! The escape room was fun and I'll definitely recommend for friends and families

My girlfriend and I love escape rooms and have done plenty during our time dating. This is by far the worst of the worst. The staff were nice, but it did not seem like they were interested in their jobs whatsoever. We waited past our game time and once we were eventually lead into our room were not impressed. The room physically seemed to be old and a bit beat up. We chose to tackle "The apartment". The concept seemed off the beaten path of what we would generally choose, but ultimately the entire room was less of a puzzle and more of trial and error in the worst way. There was no rhyme or reason to doing things, the hints given by the game masters were closer to walkthroughs than nudges, and to top things off there was no game clock. This was the most expensive escape room I have completed and also the least impressive escape room I have completed. That is not a winning combo. I recommend you spend your time at one of the other escape rooms in the Houston area. Pass on this one. read more

This was amazing! Thanks Such a fun time!! Kendall was great and extremely helpful and entertaining!

This place is sheer fun for grown-ups! I highly recommend you go with friends, family, co-workers, etc. It's a bit tricky to find because there is no visible sign from the street. It is inside of a building that looks like an old, converted apartment complex. Once inside of the building's courtyard follow the signage to the second floor. I recommend that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to give yourself time to be prepared. Once inside, get ready to have FUN! If it's your first time, ask for a brief overview and directions. I highly recommend asking for clues. They help so much when completing tasks. Some tasks are easier than others so be cognizant of your remaining time. My group and I finished with 47 seconds to spare! I would so do this again but for now, I'm going to enjoy the memory of escaping the room. read more

Escape The Room Texas - We escaped The Dig! - Escape Games Near Me - Houston, Texas

I've been to escape the room twice now! Always a blast and am excited to go again and try another room. A few things to know about this location- parking is street but be careful- you will get towed if you do not park properly at a proper time! There is also a restroom that is outdoors of the suite or room. You need a key to access the restroom. One recommendation I would make is have multiple restroom key's. The room we did was a lot of fun and we had 6 people- it was a good group of people for the amount of clues and puzzles we needed to find. read more
