Other escape rooms where saying we had to pay for 4 people minimum even if we didn't have that many people. The staff was very enthusiastic and nice. They explained things completely and made sure we were ready before starting. We tried the mad scientists- "Find the Antidote" room and it was very achievable with only 3 people. As it was happening, the clues seemed hard but then after the fact, it really wasn't that bad. Make sure you are completely doing each lock because I had team members who tried locks and it wouldn't work but when I tried the same thing, it worked for me. They do require masks in the rooms and they sanitize them well after each group.
