For a new and used record store you'd think they'd buy a wide variety of collections, but it's…read moreseems the buyers/owners are interested in only very obscure or multiples of the same hit records. Same issue with the new vinyl selections - a ton of obscurities and a new well known artist thrown in there so they can make a few bucks. Good luck trying to search the 45s and 12" singles. I suppose it's their store and they can put up whatever they want for sale. There are places in Rhinelander and the Fox Valley that have much better selections from punk to 40s to 2020s with all genres. There's a weird vibe in GB of music store employees having a music snob air about them. No one wants to hear what wisdom they have to impart to a purchasing customer about the band or piece they're buying, especially trying to one up the customer. Be happy you're providing the public what they want versus being downtrodden on what people buy. Not impressed. That said, I enjoyed the browsing and the small selection of older music mags and pseudo vintage shirts. The older equipment was a nice addition too. They're a 2.5 but selected 3, because they're local and I want to support any vintage/retro/recycle shop.

Awesome used/new record store, including some stereo gear. As I others have said, when you are in…read morethe zone searching for vinyl you can hang out a while. You feel very welcomed here. Owner is a nice guy who knows his craft, he buys used records too. This place has been my go to for vinyl since I started collecting. I promise you will enjoy Rock n Roll land....and yes, they have country, jazz, rap, etc too!

It took me a while to warm up to this place, but I love it…read more Look, I buy CD's online. I do. When a recording as unknown as The Art Bears "Winter Songs" comes available, I know I'm not going to find it in the Exclusive Company. Hell, I'm not going to find it most anywhere in the United States. Scarce recordings are, unfortunately,, best found online. It's just the nature of today's market. But... I have found some great stuff here, and for a much better price than I would find online. That alone makes it worth it for my twice monthly jaunt to The Exclusive Company. I found Captain Beefheart's "Trout Mask Replica", for example, or Zappa and the Mother's "Just Another Band From LA". I'm a big Lou Reed fan and found "Berlin" and other recordings there. My point is that it's fun to browse around and find stuff at this brick and mortar store. It's great that they've remained in business when so many similar stores have closed their doors. And this is the best way to support your local scene and buy their recordings at a local store like this (yes I know it's a regional chain... but you get my point)... Go there, enjoy the wares! One other thing, why did Beefheart call it "Trout Mask Replica" ? That ain't no trout I've ever seen....

Glad this discraceful place is no longer open! My friend went into the back and offered a decent…read moreselection of records and audio music materials. After rudly being told to leave I went into the store in an attempt to help my friend sell his materials. He then proceeded to tell me they were my friends and I had to get out. After further discussion he proceeded to accuse me of "going around and stealing records" in order to pay for a drug addiction. I have never stolen a record in my life! Being falsely accused like this is not how you handle proper business!
