This is where men come to have their hair cut and that's it. They also do offer service for women but who are we kidding. This is a man's place. Salvatore is an old-school barber who's not really all that old school. He knows what he is doing and you can't go wrong. The prices are as they should be....fair. I come in more often simply because for the price, why wouldn't you. I like their basement location because it just gives it more flair. Nothing superfluous. These guys are here to do their job....cut hair. The address is off. Their entrance is actually in the Poststrasse. Find the Polo store on the corner of Poststrasse and Hohe Bleichen and right behind it you'll see an all glass door. Walk in a go down stairs. They only take walk-ins but it's usually not too busy unless it's lunch time. Even then though at most you'll wait 20 to 30 minutes. Salvatore is cool in that he'll tell you how long it takes and you can go do some shopping or whatever and come back. If you want a true barber who knows his craft give this place a try.

When I was called up, the barber was quick and efficient, but was also diligent about doing it right. You might think a buzzcut would be easy, but I've had many people get it wrong before. One further big plus is the very reasonable pricing for a haircut and a professional - I repeat PROFESSIONAL - shave. Also not really geared towards non German speakers. The appointment system online is all in German and you don't know what you're booking for if you're not fluent. Customer service could significantly be improved especially towards new customers and foreigners.
