I love my old Naugahyde library chair but a big person sprung the springs and the webbing gave way and well, you know the rest. Dan brought it back to life and made me happy too! Then... I had this crazy thing happen. I saw an old 60's chaise lounge at an estate sale. I had to have it but boy, was it ugly! Now, this thing was ridiculously big and I was almost embarrassed that I gave in to that crazy "gotta have it"15-second urge. I'd never done anything quite like this mostly because I just didn't have the expendable income or the inclination but... I did. Because of its large size, Dan made a special trip to assess it. Now he could have made comments like, "why would anyone want that monstrosity?" or "what was that lady thinking?" but he didn't. He was all about the positive energy vibe. He helped me find just the right material by sending stacks of upholstery sample books home with me. He was patient. He was encouraging. He became my upholstery shrink. When I finally decided on the perfect material, he assured me that it would be right (for me). It was and is. His workmanship is meticulous. He has an eye for detail and his work is beautiful. He saw the fun in this piece of furniture and made me a happy, crazy lady. I love it. But that's not all. I had one more thing to do... to get rid of my sweet Mother's dated decor. Now I love my Mom, but I couldn't abide the turquoise and coral any longer. It screamed the 70's at me and that just wasn't my favorite decade. Too much teenage angst and all that. Anyway, Dan took my great Aunt Lois' chair and turned it once again, into a beautiful chair. He set the print design thoughtfully and added decorative tacks like they did during the chair's heyday. Then... he made an extra deluxe wood box seat for those grand derrieres that need a comfortable place to light. He was lightning quick with his work every time. Oh my... his work is special. I am a big fan and he gets six stars and a thumbs up!

we have two identical 20yo custom sofas that the thin fabric was ripped and falling apart. In…read moreorder to host a 40-person party in 2 months. Oscar responded with clear and reasonable quotes and a 5-wk process time. sofas were picked up as scheduled. since we're trying to save some $ and matching the seat cushion, there were not too many choices of fabric to choose from. and It was hard/expensive to find trims that matched original design of the sofa. Oscar's staff explained and talked me into just doing simple piping along the base and around all the pillows. the day before delivery I called to confirm (I was really worried they won't make it for my party scheduled day after delivery), then again the morning of delivery and late afternoon. they finally delivered around 5pm on delivery day, 2hrs after their closing time. the sofas looked really nice and the simple piping actually enhanced the seat cushions. we really like it. Oscar was very responsive via text. the staffs were all very helpful throughout the process. I would have given them 5-stars if I didn't have to be so nervous the last 2 days worrying they wouldn't make it.

I was looking for a fabric shop which are few and far between nowadays. I was going to go to Covina…read moreso I searched this area and it was perfect. I wanted to buy ribbon various color sizes and types. When I walked towards the back of the store to look at the ribbon, I was flabbergasted!!! my eyes open so wide my mouth dropped open. I had just stepped into ribbon heaven. I came away with maybe 20 different ribbons, maybe 5 yards each and $48 bill. Well worth it. I wanted various types to make ribbon book markers. I will post a picture so you could see how beautiful they came out. I will be back with a pocket full of money to buy more ribbon.
