I went to this doctor complaining of vision loss on the top part of my eye. I was told my eye was…read morefine. The vision loss continued to move down. Once again I visited the office and was told there was nothing wrong. Knowing obviously that this was not normal, I went to another eye doctor in Barrie and was told the retina had become detached. He sent me to emergency to see the eye specialist on duty. He confirmed my retina had become detached but it was no longer an emergency as it had now gone too far and too long. Had either of the two doctors that I had seen in this office been able to detect a detached retina or offered to refer me to someone who was able, I am told that I would have had a good chance of retaining my 20 20 vision in that eye. After three surgeries, I am left with very poor vision in my left eye. Very disappointed in this office.

If you are reading this please do not make my mistake and think that pearl vision sells quality…read moreframes. Yes they have name brand but they are 95% all defective and will not last you past a year. They do this because the warranty is up in a year. This is my third pair of frames from pearl vision that have completely fallen apart from nothing but a light cleaning. Their selection was very impressive -- kids, men's, women's and sunglasses. Their salespeople were very visible, friendly, helpful, but not pushy. I chose my glasses frames and the sales staff helped me chose a pair of prescription sunglasses (certain frames would not work with my prescription). They gave me full information on my lens options and were upfront and honest about prices and what works and what doesn't. They even offered to call my benefits provider to inquire about vision coverage for me. The glasses took about 1.5 weeks to come in and I'm very happy with the results. The optician made sure the glasses fit properly and that I was happy with the glasses. They also told me that if I had any problems that all I had to do was stop in for a free adjustment. Great products, great opticians, great experience overall!
