BCBS was, however, reimbursing tiny sums. I was exhausted, and did not have the energy to fight with BCBS. Medical Claims Rx was very reasonably priced- much cheaper than getting a lawyer. I had a tumultuous car beginning in North Carolina. Long story short, I had three days before I began my new job here to lease a car. In NC, you can't have an uninsured car. You also can't get insurance for your car without an NC driver's license. This put me in a serious bind, as I had moved from out of state and didn't have a license when I went to go get my insurance. Josh was really great about all of this, starting my paperwork anyway while I ran around to get everything in order. And everything worked out totally fine--the process was much smoother in the end because of his cooperation. But it gets better! On my birthday, I was eligible for a lower insurance rate. Without me having to say boo, Josh emailed me and let me know that he had found a different insurance company with a much lower rate for me, and all I had to do was come in and sign the paperwork. It was a SIGNIFICANT discount. I even got to re-set up my direct deposit right there! As the very large cherry on top of the ice cream, I (inadvertently, so it was an even better surprise) referred someone to come to them for insurance. A bit later, I got a $5 Starbucks gift card in the mail as a thank you. A bit later than THAT... I got a $50 Target card in the mail for winning a separate drawing you get entered into as a result of that! Holy crap! After over 30 years of paying premiums for home and car insurance, the only interactions I ever had…read morewith State Farm until recently were dealt with directly in Greg Lopeman's office, because the claim amounts were below $10,000. For the 2 or 3 claims we made over that time Greg's office handled everything quickly and fairly, and up until a couple of months ago I wouldn't have hesitated leaving a 5 star review. The trouble comes when you have a claim ABOVE $10,000, at which point the issue is out of the hands of local offices like Lopeman's and moves to "State Farm Corporate" as they describe themselves. These "adjustors" literally call themselves "a different company" from the local offices, and they are trained assassins at denying claims. We recently had water damage due to Tropical Storm Chantal, and the gyrations these clowns went through to deny us coverage were utterly ridiculous. When I proved that their first reason for denial was wrong because they were misreading a mechanical code, they came up with a second, unrelated denial. When I proved that wrong and insisted on speaking to a supervisor, that supervisor came up with yet a third reason to deny our claim, the first major one we'd made in over 30 years. Greg Lopeman is a good guy and does his best to run a fair business. But the fact is that State Farm Corporate is positively mercenary, and will be of no help to you if you actually need it. Look at their Google Reviews: 1.2 stars, and every review reads just like this one. Run, don't walk, from anything to do with State Farm Insurance. When you actually need them to do what you've been paying them for, they are worse than useless.

Payment was never to exceed 426.00 goes to 766.00. home goes into foreclosure. Not processing due to COVID-19 shut down according to agent in foreclosure department. I have not received any correspondence since COVID-19 shut down. Turns out I am still in foreclosure. My home was never inspected because of the COVID 19 shutdown. Only pictures were sent. It is 2024 and my home is crumbling. Unfinished floor, back mold, holes that you can internally see to the outside. Spider waterbug and cockroach infestation. I I've in fear always. Neighbor townhouse next door has a leaking roof along with years of deterioration. When I call Kristie Wilson at the ocal USDA SMITHFIELD NC OFFICE I get zero help other than I am in foreclosure. I mowed the grass at 27 s Sussex drive until I no longer had a mower. I knew the lady that lives there had an anurysm which left the home vacant.
