I spent months calling various patio furniture shops in the greater Los Angeles area seeking someone who could help me repair these chairs, to no avail. I described my problem and Steve said he could HELP ME! Yikes unbelievable! I live in Pasadena and he offered to pick up the chairs at my residence, repair them, and return them. It was seamless. Just as promised he picked up the chairs and returned them repaired the following day. The fee was reasonable and the repair was perfect. I would highly recommend LA welding & repair. We're very pleased. Patrick and Fernando did a terrific job. We had a rough idea of what we'd…read morewanted when we first met them, and the process of finalizing the finer details was really straightforward. The job was pretty swift, considering it was all custom. They measured carefully, and discussed potential issues with us and how we might like to work around them (mostly issues of our old house having walls not perfectly true, and of building codes having changed a lot since our former railing had been installed). All made sense and we came up with agreeable workarounds. They did initial fabrication on site, to make sure that everything fit perfectly, and then did the finishing work and painting off site. The final install was meticulously precise. The new railing is very sturdy. Photos show completed railing BEFORE we installed new finished flooring. It is bolted to the subfloor and to some reinforcement blocking that they installed under the subfloor for us, as well. Overall, we're quite happy with it. For something like this our goal had been to install a railing that will last for 50 years, and I think they met that goal for us.
