Any request we made were accommodated without any questions asked. John and the staff has been very respectful and professionals. When we had questions, they would answer the question or find another person to answer. When we asked for something to be done whether in the a small detail to a larger, they did it. It was nice to feel welcome in Delano Mortuary during this difficult time. We asked for a live stream so that family from Germany, Philippines, Indiana and Fairfield could see the funeral. John did it. We asked for our playlist to be played instead of instrumental, Delano Mortuary did it. We asked for the casket to be lifted so we could go under, Delano Mortuary did it. I am very impress with the professionalism and respect that Delano Mortuary showed my family during this grieving time.

We paid for the whole stationary package and there were no prayer cards anywhere. I've asked around and no one received them. The thank you notes have printing all over them and a huge advertisement for the funeral home on them. The table at the cemetery for my fathers ashes looked like a Costco children's table. I'm grateful a friend and small blanket to cover the table to make it look nice. The were was no direction from the funeral home before hand so everything was rushed the day of even though I emailed John a week in advance to go over the way the day would play out. Every time someone from the funeral home got on the microphone they reminded our guests what funeral home they were from. My whole family has gone through this funeral home in the past, before it was sold to this new company. It's sad to see the way they are running it now.

My uncle has been buried here for 21 1/2 years and you removed his headstone because it doesn't meet you code. Then fix whatever it is that you need to fix so it can be put back. This is not just a stone, it's a headstone. A headstone that represents an amazing man's life and death. A place for family and friends to visit. It represents the person he once was to help family members and friends come to find peace. That was all taken away without even informing the family of it. If that is value to your company, where people put their trust in you in times of need and pay you to take care of their loved ones, then you have allot to learn about value. The family had to call to find out what was going on, which resulted in being treated less than adequate, not once, but twice. No empathy for the situation whatsoever, or the family, who are trying to find out what happened to the headstone they enjoy seeing so much. If you cannot provide a satisfactory plot for someone's final resting place, then portray that you can. This is extremely saddening, disappointing, and careless.

I have been extremely disappointed with this cemetery. On December 14-2018 we buried someone who…read moremeant so much to our family. I have seen his wife go through so much since then. After the burial the plot was just covered in very large dirt clods. So big we couldn't break them up to smooth the area. Yes it was winter and grass is dormant during those months. What started happening was the plot was receding because of the weather. My friend had to request many times to add more dirt. It was hard to see this happening, it was very upsetting. No attention was given to this wonderful mans plot. Eventually my friend and her son put in their own sod and grass seed, because it was not getting done. Dealing with the office they were not concerned and abrupt at times. Now after speaking to other people who have family members buried there. They say they have gone through the similar issues with this cemetery. One thing I did not mention they have not had sprinklers until approximately two months ago. They are working and grass is getting mowed.

Excuse me who tells someone this?!?! How can this employee get away with being this rude. I didn't know there was a way to control grief. Go somewhere else that will be more compassionate and understanding for your rough day. Not tell you your grieving to hard.
