A&E gave me a fair bid and met my budget . They finished the project in a timely manner and didn't have any surprises or hidden fees. Jesse B. is right on the job making sure everything gets done properly. This is the way it should be and exactly opposite the experience I had with another local contractor who was a complete screw-up yet had a good reputation due to his dad Greg running the company the first 15 years (I'm not a big Yelper and don't know what is allowed so I'm not mentioning the name of this horror-story of a company). I am very happy with A&E who restored my faith in the construction profession !!!

Said he would hire a subcontractor to help with the work, but in the end seemed to possibly have used his girlfriend on a single day. The quality of the paint work (though unfinished) was extremely poor, with overspray everywhere that never got cleaned. When we complained about the overspray of the latex paint, he claimed he would clean it up with paint thinner (impossible) but then never did.
