Don't hesitate and hire Rose!! I knew I wanted Rose as the Violinist for my ceremony & cocktail…read morehour when I heard her playing violin for a yoga class! So many guests at our wedding commented how amazing Rose is and the music she played was spot on! Luckily I got to hear her playing during yoga because the only songs I heard was the processional and recessional! Hahaha last one in, first one out. Music really sets the vibe for the whole wedding and Rose nailed it! I saw pictures and videos of people dancing during cocktail hour to her music. Warms my heart so much to see people just enjoying their time. Rose is super easy to contact and she responds quickly to emails. I love that she doesn't only play songs on her song list but is willing to learn any song- that really ensured the songs we really wanted was played! Like I really wanted an EDM song for my processional and Rose was able to play it beautifully!! You won't regret hiring Rose for any of your events, and especially for weddings!

Midori was super easy to work with from start to finish. We found them through our wedding planner,…read moreand the whole process was very straightforward. They send over a sheet with their music selections, you fill out what you want, and send it back about a month before the wedding. One thing I'll say is that the music sounded even better in person than in the samples. So many of our guests commented on how cool it was and how much it added to the atmosphere. For our 2-hour City Hall wedding, it was honestly perfect. It really fills up the space and makes everything feel a lot more grand and special without feeling over the top. Based on their samples and advice from some of our musician friends, we decided to go with the trio for a fuller sound, and I'm really glad we did. Highly recommend going that route if it fits your budget.

Their performance added so much elegance, emotion, and romance to our ceremony. The sound filled the rotunda beautifully and created the exact atmosphere we were hoping for. So many of our guests came up to us afterward raving about how amazing they were and how much the music elevated the entire experience. If you're getting married at SF City Hall or hosting any special event and want live music that makes a lasting impression, Corelli Strings is the way to go. They truly enhanced one of the most important moments of our lives and we couldn't recommend them more highly!

Julie did an AMAZING job at my LO Birthday party!…read more She was on time and showed up in costume! She came prepared to keep the attention of the little kiddos so she could complete her masterpiece. Never once did I see her get impatient with my guests in fact, she went with the flow and everyone who signed up had a chance to be drawn. When it was our turn (family photo) she came to us since we were all sitting in the grass opening gifts... Thank you so much for the piece of treasure you sent my friends and family home with. I will be keeping mine forever. Hiring Julie will make YOUR party a 5 star party!

Gungun is AWESOME! The energy she brought with her singing kept the party going!…read more Gungun was the entertainment for my parents' 25th wedding anniversary. She came to the site before the event to understand the site logistics. She made recommendations on where to place the entertainment area to optimize the entertainment effect. The songs were awesome and her vibe made us want to dance nonstop! Glad we snatched her for our party before somebody else did! Thank you!!!

I emailed 4 possible groups, and Altair Trio stood out as the most reasonably priced, professional and prepared. Cynthia and I set everything up via email, which I loved. We discussed song lists, and she was more than happy to incorporate songs that weren't listed on their repertoire. She advised me on which songs would go together best, and offered to learn new songs, for an additional fee, if I chose to go that route. They agreed to come as a duo, and I booked them for an hour, less than the typical 1.5 hour minimum. Our wedding ended up starting more than 30 minutes late, but Cynthia and Michelle played and waited for us, and everyone really enjoyed the music. The late start meant they stayed later than planned. I so appreciated their flexibility! My only regret was that I never met them in person since I was busy getting married. Thanks Altair Trio, you were amazing and I would hire you again in an instant!

Cynthia was lovely from the beginning to the end, in terms of coordinating and planning. She helped me select songs and took time to create the perfect ceremony and cocktail hour ambiance for the wedding. She was very professional but also very personable. The Altair Trio plays not only exceptional classical, but also classic rock, and even contemporary pop and experimental. They have a vast repertoire of music and talent, as they are super well trained and experienced. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music and had a great time.

He did a…read morewonderful job of entertaining our crowd, who are typically more focused on networking, and changing the vibe from daytime sessions to a fun evening event. We were thrilled by his selection of songs as well - he played a song that was highly requested by my coworker and it made her night. While he was playing, an attendee let me know he recognized Chris from a wedding he played and said having Chris at our event was a sign of great taste! This is truly a great compliment to receive and a testament to Chris's talents. Could not recommend more!

Where do I begin with a review for this guy?…read more Not going with Chris is a mistake. Chris isn't here to do the bare minimum. Chris is here because he loves doing his job. What I see in Chris is a person who not only love his chosen field but is obsessed with quality and constantly bettering himself for both himself and his customers. He is extremely kind, likeable, and constantly surprising in such a good way. But lets discuss details! I met Chris after seeing his advertisements - I chose him within moments. Fortunate for us, he chose us back. Chris brings a wonderful combination of fingerstyle guitar talent as well as DJ skills. The guitar work was incredible and the videos don't do it justice. My guests loved every moment of it. On a personal level, Chris connected with me and my [wife] immediately. He invested personally, even going so far as to learn multiple songs from scratch (some without existing tabs), specifically for our wedding. He did so even when told it was not expected at all. In terms of DJ skills - I would not have ever guessed he was new. Chris immerses in the individual taste of the customer and delivers a seamless experience for the party. He even deviated when needed (after checking with us for permission) to give what he felt was the best touch to his set lists. It was a deeply personal set list and he honored that thoroughly. He managed to get a large crew of introverts on the dance floor in a way I feared was not possible. We didn't have a wedding planner. Chris let us lean on him heavily - talking with us about ceremony management, reception management, and even acted as our MC for the evening. He came with equipment and set ups for multiple locations and was clearly beyond prepared. Again. It's a mistake not going for Chris. Getting him for less than $10,000 is a steal. Chris delivered in a way I just was not expecting - and I cannot recommend him more.

Mariachi San Francisco is who you book when you want your special day to be taken to the next…read morelevel. This is not a group who just strum tunes and calls it a day. Without exaggeration, each performer enthusiastically plays each song so passionately that everyone in attendance was mesmerized. Everyone from MSF was incredibly professional and genuinely cared about our day. When I spoke to them over the phone about our wedding being culturally blended, they were excited to create a beautiful performance our friends and families from all walks of life could appreciate. Words cannot truly describe the feeling of joy I had to walk down the aisle to 10 piece Mariachi (con un arpa on top of that!) to my husband to a thoughtfully learned mariachi rendition of Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" for my ceremony. My husband has taken a deep love to my culture's music and for him to be able to hear the blend of his language and my culture with OUR song will be the perfect touch that we will reflect on for the rest of our lives. Our guests were a combination of family who have heard their fair share of Mariachi and those who were not as well acquainted. The consensus across everyone who attended was pure AMAZEMENT. During our cocktail hour, people stopped chatting just to watch MSF perform. During dinner, they enthusiastically performed a rendition of Hermoso Cariño that I had planned months before with them as a surprise to dance with my grandfather since we had danced to it during my quinceanera almost exactly 14 years ago to the day. To get most of my family to cry is an achievement within itself. As I watched the harpist perform his solo with such intensity, my husband actually pointed out our friends stopping mid bite with their mouths. While the wedding has long since passed, those in attendance STILL talk about our day and ESPECIALLY rave about Mariachi San Francisco and each performer's talent. As I continue to follow Mariachi San Francisco take on more special events and bigger projects, I have no doubts that their talent will be appreciated by anyone who listens. Consider them for your next event, you will not regret it!

I called Aurelio on a Thursday morning 2 days before the day I wanted the services. For my luck,…read moreAurelio stated they just had a cancellation for that afternoon. I only wanted an hour- and I paid more since the weekend rate is a 2hr minimum. It was a surprise for my mom's 60th birthday and it was more of a seranade. He did change the time the day of, but I was okay with that since he was going to get another hour at his other gig and I was waiting for my sister to get home from work. They arrived at the same time my sister did, which worked out because my sister yelled for me and I went outside. Aurelio asked if they could come inside (I wasn't prepared for that so the house wasn't as organized as it could be) and they walked in singing "Las Mañanitas". My mom broke down crying from how emotional she got which in turn had a trickle down effect on my sisters, dad and I. Aurelio then presented himself said happy birthday to my mom and that he knew it was a surpise for her and gave them a list of songs they could choose from or that they could just play songs. Since Aurelio had sent me "Señora, Señora" that was the next one and then my parents and sister all chose different songs thereafter. The end was very sweet as they played "Tu Sangre en Mi Cuerpo"- mom version (the video didn't come out nice). And that's actually one of my favorite songs and they made it more special singing it the mom version. My dad wanted an extra hour but honestly, I wanted to go to bed. Needless to say, I will definetly consider them for my parents wedding anniversary (and if we have a party or just a serenade).
