The flowers within this pretty florist are reasonably priced, colourful and arranged perfectly. With so many gorgeous bouquets on display, this is a very busy little shop that is worth the visit. It's obvious from the get go of meeting Ingrid that she is artistic and genuinely loves all things flowers. She has even studied them. The store itself has nice décor, is clean and well maintained with beautiful flowers everywhere you turn. Gift bags and hampers are also available, not to mention Bloomers offer free delivery to Flinders Medical Centre and Flinders Private hospital. The flowers available here are fresh and gorgeous. Ladies, this place will cater to your funky Grandma, your green thumb mother or that friend you forgot the birthday of for easily under $25 (and more if you're feeling generous). Flowers available are fairly seasonal, but there are some imported from overseas. The bunches you can buy are simple, but if you want to make up something for that special someone the staff are super helpful to combine some options for you (to suit your budget). Most importantly the flora lasts for at least 2 weeks and bunches come in brown paper packages tied up with string (these are a few of my favourite things). You can also get cute little starter gardens of lettuce and herbs here for a longer lasting present and cacti which only yours truly could kill for less than $20. I can't quite put my finger on it but it does have a certain kind of feel once I walk in. The location is good and the burst of the red canopy out the front adds to the effect, as I'm greeted with various plants in a rainbow of colours. But they do add a touch of whimsy as the florist changes the varieties often, so it's different each time I go in there. The frontage is understated and nicely framed by the red canopy as mentioned plus the decorative grape vine, a few hanging baskets on the side and some Yuccas in green pots along the side also. On this particular day there was a clear glass vase of lotus pods on their long stems, which I love as it's a purely architectural part of the plant (and I love architecture)! Dry twig wreaths and no decoration required for the Morticia in me, pretty little gifts randomly placed enabling the visitor to have a search in the garden type treasure hunt. Overall a great florist with a modern twist on arrangements for any occasion and I wish the smell can be bottled for home use!

The shop assistants are incredibly friendly, and very helpful with making difficult choices. When I came here with my girlfriend to buy flowers for a friend, we didn't bring too many ideas with us. The girl behind the counter gave us lots of different ideas for both the plants and their wrapping, and informed us of each kind of flower's longevity. I'll definitely be returning here to pick up something for those special occasions, and highly recommend others to do the same.

It really fits in with the surrounding neighborhood of Dulwich....kind of snobby and on the pricey side (the suburb, not the shop) with some of the nicest homes in the city. There is lots of choice, and even some of your more exotic fruits and veggies can be found here. They often have some really good specials too. I picked up some punnets of strawberries for $1.49. Bargain! Probably the best thing about this grocers though is that the fruit and veggies are full of flavour, almost as good as home grown. Half the crap I buy from the supermarket I may as well be eating cardboard. Service is pretty good, and you don't need to wait long to be served.

The mere mention of shopping makes my son's eyes roll so we've got a pact - I go food shopping whilst he goes to the florist, it's a deal! When I finish I go to fetch him from the florist and just upon entering I am met with the divine smell of freshly cut flowers as their perfume wafts through the air. The shop appears small judging from the facade as decorative crates filled with beautiful flowers - some real, some fake but look real - line the outside the shop, it is in fact quite a deep shop. As I walk through the archway made of brushwood decorated with dainty flowers, I see bursts of colourful floral displays, potted plants veiled in pretty tissue paper, various pots and containers sitting in their cubicles plus Xmas is around the corner so there are a few Xmassy decorations adorning the walls and hanging down from the ceiling. No wonder he loves going there, it is a haven for anyone interested in flowers and gardening which he is. Both sales assistants ask us at one stage or another if we need any help but our response was 'we were just browsing'. We were admiring everything and softly focusing on the deep hues some varieties of flowers possess. I also noticed the signage advertising they also do gift baskets, I can imagine the gorgeous bounty it can hold. If you are planning on sending that special someone a posy or even a bunch of flowers, be sure to give them a tingle (phone call), I am sure they will oblige with a smile.
