In fact, if you blink, you may miss it but it's worth keeping an eye out for it. Keys are cut whilst you wait and you'll get some friendly banter to pass the time. I appreciate good customer service and the staff in Timpsons have to be some of the most knowledgeable and friendly I've come across. Today is Friday, two days after Wednesday. I just visited Timpsons again to collect my boots. The boots had no heals on and the very pale custard soles I had specifically stated I did not want were roughly glued in place. When I queried the colour the manager said 'We don't do brown ones'. S-funny, you did last week! My boots had gone into Timpsons with replacement brown soles on them from the last time they were mended, yet the manager tells me Timpsons, the largest name in the sector, can't source brown soles!!! How many brown boots/shoes are sold annually in Britain? Answer - Google says 'Millions'. How many custard-coloured shoes are sold annually in Britain? Answer - Google says 'None'!!! I left Timpsons with my broken shoes, custard soles ripped off and my money back
