Dr. Weiner is competent and personable but working with his office is an exercise in frustration. Human beings NEVER answer the phones and one is guided through a long litany of instructions on how to leave a message to get a call back to address specific needs. The office is very clean and organized and in a safe but somewhat seedy area with some kind of drug rehab center in the same strip; there are bars on his office windows. We believe he is a good doctor and does return patient phone calls as needed. He does not appear, in our humble opinion, to be fond of allowing HMO patients to see specialists thus getting referrals is not easy. Some patients on other review sites comment they they were only allowed to see him once a year. We never had to ask for an appointment other than for an annual or follow-up to same so we cannot comment on that. He is a knowledgeable physician but one needs a lot of patience to navigate his system and deal with his stringent policies and procedures. read more
