Amazing time browsing through this monster sized toy store. The employees were situated in…read moredifferent toy areas providing demonstrations of new featured toys that they are selling. They try to enhance the interative experience while flying small drones with flashing lights over the heads of unexpecting customers, while others laughed. The escalators to each floor were always busy but you can walk up the four floors as an exhausting option - unfortunately we did this once and never again. This place was like a Toys r Us on steroids. Took pictures with an employee dressed up as a princess. Tons of fun for over an hour with a gelato shop if you get hungry. This should have been a paid attraction - just saying.

There are toys for all ages, and as you can imagine, it's quite overwhelming to shop even for me. it is London's premiere toy store. Established in London in 1760 (yup, that's old!) on Regent Street in the West End, Hamleys is very much like the old-time toy stores where workers demonstrated and displayed various toys to customers as part of the overall shopping experience Hamleys is so much more than 'just a shop'. As soon as you walk into the store, you'll be greeted by seven floors of wonder. Everywhere you look, there are toys out for you to try out and watch. You can catch live demos of the most exciting toys and games. There are also regular in-store events where they get superheroes and cartoon characters to greet the kids. There is everything that you imagine in toys and a little more. You can play, you can participate, you can have fun as if you were still a kid; it's a special and perfect place. Since it's almost always raining in the city, this is the perfect place to spend the day.

The statue is worn from years of people doing the same, which gives his snout a nice shiny look. There is also a shop where you can get your own Paddington Bear! Adorable!

The most obvious place to look for Paddington Bear would be at Paddington Station! But where is he,…read moreand why is he here? Well, apart from the name similarity, Paddington first arrives in London at Paddington Station. This is where Mr Brown and Mrs Brown first meet the cute bear. This station is the most famous place you can find Paddington Bear. And you don't waste time finding where this is located (which I did) - head towards Platform One at Paddington Station. Paddington sits here on the main concourse at the side of the station, cast in bronze, with his suitcase and hat on. He has a label around his neck that reads, "Please look after this bear, thank you." Here, you can also find several other things to do with Paddington in Paddington Station, such as a Paddington Bear plaque, a Paddington Bear bench, and even a shop. Did you know there's a little Paddington Bear statue trail in London Paddington? You can pick up "The Pawprint Trail" map from the Paddington Bear shop at London Paddington train station, just ask for it at the shop counter. The first statue is inside the shop.
