I have had many consultations, but there was always an issue with Insurance or timing. I believe now that was truly divine intervention so that I could meet Dr. Mosier and have him perform my surgery. I went from a G to a B and they look AMAZING. Truly they almost look fake and I still can't believe these are what I get to have now. I have spent my entire life hating my large chest and am finally free. My back pain is gone, clothes fit me, I don't have to wear seven bras to workout, truly it's incredible. I wish I would've done this sooner, but then it probably wouldn't have been with Dr. Mosier. From the very first appointment where I almost cried, he was so kind and so was his entire office staff. They are truly the best. So kind, so understanding and answered ALL of my 1000 questions. Then finally came surgery day which I was so nervous for. PIECE OF CAKE. I've had two children and this was one billion times easier than giving birth and recovery. I guess I should have expected that, but I've never had surgery so didn't know. I cannot believe how easy recovery was and how quick. Dr. Mosier repeatedly assured me before I left that if I had any issues, they would be there for me and would be easy to get ahold of and so responsive, and they were. He even talked directly to my husband after hours one night when I was concerned about an off looking suture (it was fine, I'm just anxious.) Truly, Dr. Mosier was so kind, supportive, and so TALENTED. I don't know that I had the highest expectations, not because of Dr. Mosier, but just because I felt like what I was working with before was so bad. And WOW. When I tell you they look FAKE they're so good. Every post-op everyone again was so kind and Erika is the sweetest person in the world and would talk me through every little detail and every question I had. I would do this whole process again in a heartbeat. To have such an AMAZING visual outcome was life changing, but to have it with such a wonderful doctor and equally wonderful office staff was also just such a pleasant experience. THANK YOU DR. M! Update 3 months later; My birthmark removal scar has been pretty much infected for 3 months…read morestraight. The dissolvable stitches have been poking holes in my incision for 3 months now and causing a lot of pain and discomfort. Not sure if I picked the right person for this procedure. Every time I see the doctor he says everything looks good, but the incision is black and has a hole in it.

Our dog bit our 15 month old son in the face which caused us to have to go to the ER. The extent…read moreof the injury was bad (torn eyelid & lacerations inside his mouth) that the ER decided to call in a plastic surgeon for the stitching. Dr. Burkett came from home at 10pm to help us out. He was very efficient with the stitch work. It was very even and stopped the bleeding. He kept calm throughout the entire procedure. Let me tell you, my 15 month old was kicking and screaming. I was horrified about the effects but Dr. Burkett was very calm and assured me that my son would be running around the next day, which is exactly what he did. He said that my son would probably not even notice the pain or notice his stitches, but I still asked for pain medication and he gave me a prescription to ease my worry. He told me to call his office and schedule an appointment to get the stitches taken out. He also stated that he doesn't have an automated phone system and that a live person would answer. So when I called, sure enough a sweet lady picked up and got my information down to schedule my appointment. Fast forward a week later. The swelling on my son's face was gone and from a distance you couldn't tell he had stitches on his face (he got it in 4 places). We walk into his nice office and all the ladies behind the reception desk started talking to my son and trying to make him smile. The waiting room is surrounded by framed photography from Dr. Burkett by the way, all of which are beautiful. When they called us back, Dr. Burkett was standing in front of the room and greeted Brandon. He remembered him! We laid my son on the exam room bed and 5 minutes later, the stitches were all out. He answered all my questions about scarring and really put me at ease. Dr. Burkett was a GREAT plastic surgeon. You can tell he's done this for a long time because of his demeanor.
