I had an x-ray taken about 6 months before that showed my cartilage was very thin in the area. I had a steroid shot that helped for several weeks by his colleague. My pain had gotten really bad radiating to my knee and down from my hip. Dr. Christophersen said that pain in my knee and down wasn't associated with the hip which isn't true. He wanted me to get another opinion and I would have to go over the hill to the San Jose area to a doctor, I was already in so much pain, He didn't seem to care. His colleague thankfully gave me the name of an orthopedic surgeon from Golden State Medical Group in Capitola. Each time you see a doctor it takes a month to get an appointment, This Dr. took an x'ray. In a month he scheduled me for hip replacement surgery. He also did the anterior approach with is a much quicker recovery than the posterior approach which Dr. Christoffersen performs. Its been four months and I am back at Zumba with little pain. I am thankful to have been sent to this doctor by his colleague. I really felt like Dr. Christophersen had no sympathy for my pain. He could have taken another x-ray and seen it was deteriorating. If you are having hip surgery go to Golden State. I was able to cross over from Palo Alto Medical foundation, thankfully!

If anyone is a current patient of hers, we'd love to know where she is practicing now. All her staff were fantastic in every interaction. Front desk staff are pleasant, professional, efficient, and up there with the best of any medical staff. Her team caring for patients also was excellent. We had had, unhappily, a large number of issues from toes to ankle and in between that had caused us pain and poorer health before we were lucky enough to be able to see her. Our walking and mobility limitations were maintained and even improved by her with every one of our many, many visits, over more than a decade of her dedicated and excellent care. We had seen a few other podiatrists over the decades for some major on minor procedures. One was good, and two made several errors. We were so happy to find a doctor who went the extra mile, so to speak. Please note, I'm not trying to suggest that this last health org where she practiced has excellent or even good specialist services. You have to wait many, many months for your 20 minute appointment. That is due to the shortage of specialists, not due to anything her staff can do. But she has been the best for us! We sure hope that others will be able to benefit from her expertise and even TLC.

I would've given 5 stars, but I ended up going to her Physician's assistant one day for a recast. His cast was super lumpy, uneven and caused some major discomfort. I do not recommend going to anyone but Dr Halet because I ended up having to return the next day to get recasted again. Since I can't drive, it was tough for me to do, but I managed. This prob has less to do with Dr Halet and more to do with PAMF, but it affected my overall experience. I'm hoping he gets trained better. All in all, I recommend Dr Halet and am grateful she's my doctor!

My Achilles tendon had shortened and the range of motion was at barely 30% with constant swelling and lymphatic edema. Aunika offered immediate manual therapy with specific home exercises to address these issues. Andrew has worked wonders with his deep tissue release and joint mobilization. Today, at the end of the session with Andrew, I actual saw venous flow moving into the top of my foot for the first time since the surgery. Too bad no one from Precision seems to read the complaints and resolve them. I will never go back to Precision in Scotts Valley. I will be calling my health insurance to ask them to intervene in my being overcharged.

She was on time, got a FULL medical history on me before coming to any conclusions, and the part that made me want to cry-- when she didn't know the answer to something, she admitted it and was willing to do more research! I was fortunate to work with Dan Campbell over 13 weeks to try to regain movement back in my knee and hopefully avoid needing surgery. Tea Taylor is professional, experienced and really knows her stuff. She had all kinds of excellent exercises and tips for me. I never felt rushed. She had the most healing touch. I had, what seemed like, skin adhering to bone. Miraculously, she was able to gently release that. I feel definite progress and healing after my 6+ weeks of therapy. She was kind and caring. I felt that she enjoyed her work and cared about helping me, as an individual patient, vs just 'putting her 8 hours in'. They were getting so bad swelling and sores that I'd be in bed for weeks at times. After going to the Lymphedema Clinic everything began getting better quickly. My PT is Tea and she's been SO informative! Besides taking great care of me during my appointments, she's given me treatments to use at home that have changed my quality of life. I'd recommend anyone with this problem to be seen at the Lymphedema Clinic and I can't speak for any other therapist besides Tea, but she has been amazing. Besides nurturing and almost more important has been the knowledge and tools she's given me to help with this condition. I was surprised to not find other reviews.
