I went to a doctor after doctor and nobody would resolve it. Doctors kept telling me that I was a mother that's why I was tired or I need a physical therapy or I need allergy medicine. My quality-of-life was hugely diminished and I couldn't participate in many of the activities I always loved and I would look at people jealously that were skiing and snowboarding like I used to do or mountain biking. During COVID-19 lockdown I found a book called the new music cure and I found out about Dr. Blake so I called her up. Over the course of a year she gave me my life back. Instead of traditional medicine where they look at one pill and give you one pill for that situation she looks at the whole body and realized I probably was suffering from Lyme disease. I did not believe her but it turns out I had it. I don't want to spend too much time in the review going into all the details but I will tell you that you can trust Dr. Blake to take good care of you and to bring your health back. I cannot Article express my gratitude. Also she's just so easy to be around. Dr. Blake is calm , understanding, empathetic, knowledgeable and so fun to talk with while resolving issues that other doctors overlook and often don't understand. I can workout again. I've lost 25 pounds. I feel so much better and I know I've done right by my body.

From our first session, Shannon approached me with kindness and genuine curiosity. During our time together, she guided me into the inner reaches of my body and mind with patience, openness, and compassion. I had never tried hypnotherapy before my sessions with Shannon. In fact, I went in as a skeptic, but I found Shannon's approach to be powerful and grounded in deep truths. More insights were revealed to me in my couple of months with Shannon than I'd uncovered in the combined years of talk therapy that I've done in the past. Forget what you think you know about hypnotherapy, and take the leap. With Shannon, you're in good hands.

I feel happier day-to-day and more resilient on my hard days. Ultimately, working with Shannon has changed my perspective on life and allowed me to connect with parts of myself I was not even aware of. Shannon is the real deal!

I went to Dr. K because on her website it specifies that she is a thyroid specialist. There is no qualification for this that I have found. She led me on for months, costing me thousands out of pocket and I received very minimal care. She even said if my situation was too complex for her that she would ask other health professionals that she is in contact with for assistance. She never did this. I discussed with her how I had been a vegan for several years, but no longer, so I didn't feel dairy was my issue. I told her I had already given up sugar and gluten for a while with little difference to my wellbeing. She insisted I give these things up for months before she would give me the thyroid medication I researched and deeply felt I needed. She promised she would do this for me so I suffered for 2 months in her "care" while she did basically nothing. She was convinced I have an adrenal problem, and that was the cause of my problems, turns out I have high inflammation in my blood which she never checked for. I told her I was constantly dizzy and she didn't take my blood pressure at our visits, turns out my blood pressure is abnormally low, shock! When she finally gave me the medication I told her I needed, I finally found relief from many of my symptoms, how amazing... thank you Internet research and self determination. For several months after this she wouldn't even put me on the recommended starting dose for this medication, so I kept sinking into my old symptoms until she would mildly up my dosage. Then she threatened to not renew my script. This was unacceptable. She even made up a diagnosis for me that doesn't exist. Not professional. Needless to say I fired her and got a real MD and thyroid specialist that has actual qualifications. She immediately discovered through blood testing that I have inflammation in my blood caused by a long lived virus, that I have low blood pressure, and she immediately gave me a much higher dose of my medication. She also prescribed me MUCH less and different supplements than Dr. Kristy did, which I paid hundreds for. The end result being that in one session with an actual medical professional I have answers after wasting a year jumping through Dr. Kristy's hoops. I can now understand why there is so much hate for NPs. Your health is in your hands. As far as I am concerned, you can get better care by researching the Internet, getting blood tests done anywhere, and then going to an integrative health professional, not a snake oil salesman. That is a miserable year of my life, and a lot of money I can't get back.

There is an option to book a generic consultation if you're not sure what you want. The first thing I'm asked is which IV infusing I'm getting. Why would I book the appointment for not knowing what I want if I know what I want? I'm told there is no provider here & I can book an appointment tomorrow. Like it's nothing, like I don't have a job or other time commitments in my life. I'm frustrated. I'm attempting to suggest they give the option of booking the required consultation on line, so I'm not wasting my time. The girl helping keeps saying but you can make an appointment now. I'm saying I already made an appointment. I'm here for my appointment- the manager steps in and at least listens to what I am saying but simply responds, yeah we don't give that option on line. As if that's helpful. I'm saying yes, I know you do not, because if you did, I would have booked that & come TOMORROW when the provider is here & not wasted my time this morning. She further explains that I could have called or come in to make the appointment. When I made the appointment it was closed - I could not have called or come in because the whole world does not operate on a 9-5 schedule. I get home from work at midnight. I do not fall asleep instantly. I had to get up to be told it was for nothing. And instead of, I'm sorry that must be frustrating- I get BS - we don't offer that because people have questions. She says more questions than their other services that you CAN book on line. SO FU**ING say that on line. How hard would it be to say - if you are booking for an iron infusion you need to call to make appointment during business hours. You say you need to book a consultation which I did. Granted not the "Luxe consultation " that is required, because it was not an option and I couldn't call when I was booking this appointment. Very frustrated at their inability to see that they wasted my time, they don't care that they wasted my time & they are not willing to entertain any suggestion to not waste my time in the future. Yes, I could have called to clarify & would have if I had actually remembered the frustration at trying to book the "luxe consultation " before I arrived that morning BUT - had they simply listed on their site you need to call to book this appointment the entire episode could have been avoided.

I worked with Dr. Daniel for about 2.5 years as I was getting sick too often with colds and flus…read more Instead of improving my immune system, it got dramatically worse and my overall health and fitness degraded a lot. Dr. Daniel did a lot of pricy and questionable testing and put me on 41 pills a day of either supplements or prescription medicine. I developed a concerning medical condition I'd never had before that made me feel sicker than ever, requiring me to stop eating many foods, and made me so fatigued, all I could do was lie on the couch most days for months. It was miserable. I finally got fed up with her after the second time she raised her prices significantly during the pandemic and fired her. I had spent tens of thousands of dollars on her appointments, testing and supplements. I immediately went off of everything she had prescribed and felt so much better within two weeks. My health has been just fine since I stopped following her advice 18 months ago. She may have a lot of five-star Yelp reviews but read them closely - few mention good medical outcomes from working with Dr. Daniel. That's because she gives her patients a discount on supplements in exchange for Yelp reviews which they write at the beginning of their treatment before they have any outcomes. This practice is unethical and should be illegal. Note to Dr. Daniel: When you attempt to rebut my review, be sure not to violate HIPAA.

Excellent doctor; disappointing practice…read more First of all, Dr. Daniel is extraordinary: extremely well-informed, profound, compassionate, and caring. Working with her had an incredibly positive effect on my health and well-being and I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her, and get back to optimal health. However, there have been recent changes to the practice that feel de-humanizing. Today, in the midst of a pandemic, I tried to log in to ask a question or make a short appointment, and was told my account was "inactive" as I had not had an appointment in a year. I called to see if I could ask Dr. Daniel, a doctor I really trust, a question or make an appointment, and Jason/Jonathan called me to tell me that I was no longer a patient, and the practice was not accepting new patients. I told him I'd been a patient since 2015, and asked him how I could make an appointment, or ask Dr. Daniel a question, and he said I would need to go online and read about my options, that who knows if I could be seen again, but that I might be a "level 2" or "level 3. " When I asked him what that meant, he said I should go online. As a longtime patient, a mother, and a scientist, I felt hurt and disrespected by this de-humanizing interaction. It seemed that the rug had been swept out from under my feet - I was booted from the practice because I felt well and hadn't had an appointment in a year. These new policies, and the interaction with Jason/Jonathan were the exact opposite of my previous experience with Dr. Daniels (warm, humanizing, caring). He left me with no other option than to seek other care.

The first thing to understand is Dr. Ashe is a specialist in Functional Medicine…read more In case you need to know functional medicine is based on the understanding of human biochemistry and beyond. A discussion of functional medicine is beyond the scope of a yelp review but there are several books at the introductory level including one by Jeffrey Bland the founder of the field. Functional Medicine is a field of medicine sanctioned by the American Medical Association. Which means training and licensing is done with the oversight of the AMA. This differs radically from herbalists, naturopaths, chiropractors who are separate from the AMA. To oversimplify functional medicine treats a plethora of "lifestyle" diseases, such as diabetes, certain gut conditions, cardiovascular health and more. Treatment starts with optimizing diet, including vitamins and supplements where diet is insufficient. From there it gets pretty sophisticated with genetic testing and up. Back to Dr Ashe, she is one of the most research-oriented and well-informed doctors I ever had. She wrote some of the most meticulously researched articles on the deleterious effects of wildfire smoke. I was impressed, this level is scholarship is wasted on a newsletter sent to a few patients. It should be considered for publication in a peer reviewed journal. I can only hope some journal picks up on these. If you have a difficult condition that falls within functional medicine, I'd pick her. I totally respect her views. But it's not all easy. Insurance coverage for functional medicine is iffy. My current insurance won't cover it, so I'm out of luck. My previous insurance was less honest and pretended to offer coverage while making it as difficult as possible to process claims. Overall, I prefer honesty.
