Practice billing could have filed a form as they are the only practice performing the surgery in a few hundred mile radius but they gave a lame excuse as to why they couldn't be bothered. So a couple thousand more out of my pocket on top of an already expensive procedure. That was the icing on the cake as the surgery was only partially successful. Follow-up care was lacking in that I returned several times over the recovery period and literally got no additional help and was just told to come back next month. Never saw the surgeon again only the PA. 9 months later a follow-up MRI listed my condition changed from severe to moderate so with pain meds I'm still barely functioning and still/back in PT a year afterward.

Making appointments was extremely frustrating, and painful and expensive tests were made for a procedure that didn't happen because they were unwilling to schedule it before my scheduled trip, even though they had 3 months' notice. And if they weren't going to do it, then they shouldn't have made me undergo the preparatory procedure. Front desk people were repeatedly rude and unhelpful. So sorry I ever let them do anything to me. I could have saved a lot of money, frustration, and pain.

Furthermore, the doctor supports her fully and called me specifically to ensure I understood that they do not call insurance companies to help clarify issues found on referrals submitted by the practice. They simply wait for the rejected referral and reply to it. I had requested physical therapy based on a script from my surgeon. It was never submitted because the primary receptionist that deals with Tricare was too busy and expected she would get to it in two weeks. Worthless. She is either overloaded with work or lazy, I am not sure which. Dr Carter will dispense medications you need in a timely manner, give you a semi decent exam, explain some of what needs to be done but when it comes to assisting the patient versus her staff, the patient is screwed. Needless to say I have switched doctors where the staff is pleasant and the doctor seems to genuinely care about you and ensures you referrals are submitted no later then the next business day. When my new doctor requested my medical records from doctor Carters practice, they never sent them over. Don't waste your time with this practice, find a quality team that truly cares for you and has the staff to support your needs.

My buddy Heather is a dental hygienist at Bryan Dental and Associates and she is the absolute best person I know. She is the reason I decided to drive an hour and ten minutes to this office. I was arriving for my appointment and was unsure which way to go as my GPS was acting weird. I asked two nice women in scrubs if they knew where to find the office. The women were super helpful and pointed me to the office they worked at and were walking back to. I went in and was nervous but my buddy and the rest of the women I interacted with were legit the best. I again only gave this place a chance because of heather and I'm so glad I listened to her. I found that while taking a chance on this Dental office she definitely didn't disappoint. Dr. Bryan and his dental hygienist were the absolute best. They made me feel so comfortable. He did not do anything without telling me and said I have options. This dentist did try to sell me on a crazy treatment plan. He simply told me these are my options. I genuinely loved every minute I was in there. The office is so nice as well. So clean!!! I can't thank Heather G enough for helping me and showing me that this was the absolute right place to choose to have my dental work done. Thanks again! Semper Fi C.Conner
