Savannah, in our experience, is a town where medical doctors are more easily accessible and…read morepleasant to deal with than one might experience in a more dense market. However, this medical practice is the exception in our singular experience and, this practice is, for all practical purposes, is the "only game in town" in this category of service. If you deal with this practice, you may get timely service if you deal with a PA-C and not the doctor. It's common to find large crowds in the waiting room. If you go to a Urgent Clinic in this area for a urological issue, they will refer you to this practice. Our experience here, with only one doctor, is the doctor believes their time is more important than your time. In our experience, appointments with doctors run 1-2 hours late, again, because their time is more important than you and your time. After all, they're doctors and in their mindset, they are more important than you. If you can find an alternative --- go. If you don't need a urological service, don't use this one for preventative care.

my experiences here have been very good...yes, I do see the PA more often than my actual doctor…read more(Dr. Michigan), but the PA's have been extremely knowledgeable, and I've never left an appointment with unanswered questions...going to the doctor can seem like an assembly line, but I've always gotten the time I needed and never felt rushed...after my initial cancer surgery, my appointments were every 3 months, then every 6 months as my PSA stabilized...so I'm here a lot...I've never really had to wait long, and the check in process has never been a problem...also the procedures I've had (such as a cystoscopy) were handled with care, considering just the thought of that procedure as a male was frightening!...being from a large area (the DC/MD/VA area) with access to excellent health I was actually pleasantly surprised at the high quality of health care here in Savannah ...
