We were purchasing a home from out of town, and we had some idea of the type of house/property we wanted, but we didn't have much knowledge of the neighborhoods (just that we love Kanab!). Add to that, the market is so crazy that if you don't jump on an opportunity immediately, you miss out. Ebbi showed us several houses remotely, and gave us an honest assessment of the pros and cons of each place. She kept us informed of what was coming on the market, was very respectful of our needs, and didn't pressure us at all. When we found a house we really wanted, she jumped on it, got us the first showing, and we had an offer in by the end of the day! I used Cindy as my realtor to sell my home. Unfortunately I cannot recommend her. While things…read moreseemed OK at first, during contract negotiations she became unprofessional and disrespectful towards me. She uses a lot of real estate jargon and cannot explain it well when you ask for clarification. Communication is difficult and cumbersome because of it, requiring numerous calls, email and texts. While she is response, this communication issue overshadowed the good with bad. During the last escrow she suddenly decided (without any cause) that the buyers were going to pull out, creating drama unnecessarily. When I became upset at that, she sent me a weird meme that strong women don't play the victim, don't look pitiful, and don't point fingers. It was utterly bizarre that a realtor would overstep like that into a personal attack. At one negotiation point she tried to bully me into signing an addendum for which she could not explain the language she had put on there, at some point emailing me "do you want to sell or not" and "just tell me and we'll just pull the contract". All these interactions, over the span of a full year, lead me to say, look elsewhere.

I helped several of my neighbors with issues as well that Mr. Adair wrongly assessed. Recently I uncovered another issue on my property and asked him about it. He refused to help and told me to call an attorney. Very unpleasant man, has that typical local, old school "You're a gentile and a "move-in" and so I won't give you the time of day or treat you with respect" attitude. I'd pass and find a different title company out of St George or Cedar.
