He refused to help and told me to call an attorney. Very unpleasant man, has that typical local, old school "You're a gentile and a "move-in" and so I won't give you the time of day or treat you with respect" attitude. I'd pass and find a different title company out of St George or Cedar.

I would highly advise that you DO NOT use this company. We used them because it was the seller's…read morerealtor advised us to. My wife and I were in process of building our home and we used this title company. They did not do their due diligence in making sure that the lot was not under any liens or issue free. Both our realtor and the title company sent us documentation stating that we had closed and recorded. When we did not receive documentation or a deed for the land, we attempted to contact First American Title to have them send us proof of purchase. Soon thereafter, my wife was contacted by the County Assessors office to let us know that our property purchase was rejected due to "improper filling by the title company." We have attempted to ask them questions via email, and all we have received is a reply that stated that First American Title has put a claim in to resolve the issue.... Apparently the issue with the land is that the seller's wife had passed and that the property is tied up in probate... It is my understanding that it is the title company's job to make sure that the property is free and clear of all title issues. So shouldn't this have been caught before the sale had been completed??? I am very upset with the poor customer service I have received, inadequate performance, and the overall lack of communication that this company has provided. If you want to make sure that your future purchase goes through smoothly and without fault, I recommend you GO TO A DIFFERENT TITLE COMPANY BECAUSE THIS ONE IS TERRIBLE.
