IV while waiting.

Very clean facility. No wait when I arrived Sunday evening after 5pm. The staff were all extremely kind and warm making this unerving experience as pleasant as possible. Check in was ver fast without delay. I was made to feel very comfortable but was allowed to rest. Dr.Mohammed was extremely attentive to my concerns as was the intake nurse. Smaller more intimate ER setting took the edge off too. The facility was equipped with everything to assist with any emergent situation. I was hesitant to go as I thought this facility was more of an urgent care, it was much better than that. Such a good experience overall and despite my being there for my health concern.

Front staff awesome! As for the doctor, if I am able to give no stars I would, she was not personable and was rude. Don't get me wrong this place is my go to ER, never had any problems but this most recent visit totally thumbs down! Went in for a poss corneal abrasion, eye was just painful unable to keep eye open and keep eye closed something was in there!!!, sensitive to light, red, puffy and swollen, mind you doc was told something flew in eye and there was constant rubbing there after. Doctor(s),there was also a resident, did the numbing, then the dye, said there is nothing obvious in the eye and called it conjuctivitis. Given antibiotics told to follow up with a Ophthalmologist (FYI, was given a name and when I called it wasn't even an Ophthalmologist) ....after the visit went home too ibuprofen and fell asleep. Eye pain was better but all the other symptoms was still there. I was able to look in my and and there was something obviously in my iris, how could the ER have missed this?! I immediately called the number that was recommended, no answer after many tries and then when I finally got thru it was a PCP office. Luckily I was able to find and Ophthalmologist to see me within the hour and then it was confirmed, rust was lodged in my eye. It was taken out. As for the ER this could of been bad , could of ended up blind!

5 minute interaction with doc to get a RX refill and I got charged $1,157.

We went to the Southern Hills Hospital ER on Saturday, 4/25/26 and within minutes they saw to my wife, and started her on an IV Antibiotic. Around 8pm they took me back there to see her, then around 10pm, they took her to a hospital room. We were told that they were going to operate on the infection and infected tissue on Sunday 4/26/26. She was cleared to leave on 4/28/26. The nurses, surgeon, and physician were all amazing. I am glad that she is out of the hospital now and the only thing to fear right now is the upcoming bill...

I would strongly caution anyone considering this hospital specifically the 4th floor. While other…read moreunits such as Labor & Delivery, ICU, or outpatient surgery may operate differently, my concerns are solely with the 4th floor care team. My mother has been hospitalized here for two weeks, and during that time we have experienced repeated and serious failures in care. Physical therapy orders were ignored, contributing to my mother going from being able to walk upon admission to now being unable to walk. A feeding tube was placed, yet she was not fed for three days due to the absence of a nutritionist. We requested a cardiologist and waited four days before one finally saw her. The list of issues is extensive. Most concerning at this point is that now that she is tube-fed, she is frequently left soiled and uncleaned. This is unacceptable and inhumane. I have photographic evidence of these conditions; while I am reluctant to share them publicly due to how disturbing they are, they do exist. I urge families to think very carefully before entrusting a loved one to this floor. What we have experienced reflects a lack of coordination, accountability, and basic patient dignity.

One clerk was eating his lunch at his desk while inputting and admitting patients to the ER. Cringy protocol. Quickly into emergency testing. All staff were multi-tasking and expedient in what their function was. When it came to doctor care, hit or miss. Most were caring, others non existent in showing up for two days. Some seemed intuitive, some clueless and making momentary patient decisions without all patient history, information and most important of all perspective. Was not fed for 24 hours once admitted claiming there is no food after 5:30 at night. Unfortunately once I had the information myself pertaining to my vitals I checked myself out against doctor's wishes. All nurses seemed caring and some seemed more in tune to answering patients questions than some of the doctors. Endocrinology was a joke and had my hemoglobin numbers completely wrong trying to persuade me to inject insulin with incorrect information. I refused and checked out. A hospital doctor staff unfortunately cannot be a break-in house like a casino. I have mixed feelings because I truly think Spring Valley has a mostly caring staff but there seems to be training problems concerning the patient's perspective which to me is the most important thing there can be in this environment.

As a patient in need, I truly appreciate the communication and professionalism of the hospital staff.

"Wave that wand and you're all better!"…read more My visit to this hospital is routine for me. I'm here as a guest. Just an observation to drive someone back to their abode. We had to check in and get ready for surgery. The process can be completed prior to your procedure for best results. The patient only waited less than an hour before being taken back . Thank you to the staff for all their assistance and support. After the patient went back, while during prep process we were allowed to come back to give them love and support. Thank you to the staff for allowing us to see the patient before the surgery. It means so much . The nurse staff was absolutely amazing. So enthusiastic and encouraging. That's the attitude that you need in the morning. While awaiting the phone call from the hospital staff their is a cafeteria to enjoy some small pleasure until you have to go . We all seem to gather around the food. The kitchen staff were so friendly. They serve breakfast in the early morning and it's pretty epic . They have a great selection of fresh fruit. It's all the good stuff . Close by is coffee and other treats just across the street. The hospital itself is historic because of its roots in Catholic tradition and religious thought. You are able to learn so much just by looking around and reading the wall, literally. You are able to visit the chapel and sit for a while and gather your thoughts. Walk around and experience the tranquility of the healing garden. They celebrate you believing that all will be fine. Sometimes we need extra encouragement to keep the light and peace of joy flowing. Let kindness be your spark. All the joy and happiness that came from the individuals here was a shared experience and blessing thank you.

Earlier today we had a tire blowout while running errands and limped into the parking area of the hospital to assess the damage. The security officer on duty pulled up in his pickup truck and asked us what was wrong. Juan was this officers name and he got down on the ground with us and helped us change the tire to the donut without so much as a second's hesitation. He was able to help us get our tire switched out and back on the road to get to Discount Tire in no time at all. He certainly did not have to help us as much as he did, but I am so thankful for his kindness and assistance. Life has been very challenging lately and it was refreshing to receive some kindness from someone who didn't owe us anything. Thank you for all of your help, Juan! The world needs more of you in it! 5 stars for Juan!

The doctor made zero effort to understand what I was going through. Every time I tried to explain my symptoms, they cut me off like my voice didn't matter. I went in hoping for answers and support, and instead I walked out feeling disrespected, dismissed, and genuinely upset. The nurse Suzie was absolutely amazing and Dr. Crazen (I think?) was wonderful. They answered all my questions and took the time with me to explain everything that was going to happen and what was happening, which I fully appreciated. I ended up having to get a CT scan and they were super amazing in telling me exactly what I was going to expect since I had never had one before. I really appreciated that. I will spare the details of why I was there (I'm good now for anyone reading this and worried haha), but they took really good care of me and I was able to be discharged pretty quickly which was really nice. The facility is really nice and clean as well. The room was comfortable, too. Again, really enjoyed how kind and nice the staff was and for taking good care of me.
