I am not rich by any means but regardless of how much money I invest (or don't invest) with Chris, he is ALWAYS there to help me out and answer whatever investment question I might have. Despite the ups and downs of the current economy he has always guided me in the right direction and my money has remained secure. Chris always gives me a call about once a quarter just to check in and give me a heads up on my accounts (I have a regular investment as well as IRA Roth). I usually tune him out because for the past 10 years he has never done me wrong. I completely trust him with my money. I have had Noemi handle three separate projects for our home over the past 2 years…read more The first project where I was introduced to CJK Legacy Investment was through Lowe's for our two bathroom remodels. I initially had chosen for the shower a slate tile. I appreciated that Noemi's crew explained the positive and negative of using a slate tile in the shower. Through their feedback, I wisely chose porcelain tile for both shower walls and have been very pleased with the outcome! They also added frosted windows for both showers to allow more natural light. New vanities, sinks, toilets, and Congoleum flooring was added for both bathrooms. I am very pleased with how the plumbing, tiling, flooring, and drywalling were completed. Also, everything was done to code and passed inspection with the City of Tacoma. Great level of professionalism and timeliness. I was kept up to date with what we would expect along the timeline of events. Second project was converting the attached garage of our home into a family room. They knocked this project out of the park!! The former garage floor was leveled prior to the bamboo wood flooring being installed. The walls had insulation added to code, new drywall, electrical, heating ventilation, two windows, texturing to the ceiling and walls, and insulating the exterior walls which had not been insulated when the slab was poured for the former garage. I am extremely happy with how this project was completed as well as what we have for the price and added value of square footage to our home. We wouldn't change a thing with how this project came together! Also, everything passed inspection with the City of Tacoma. A true garage to finished square footage conversion, done right! Finally, I had a small roofing project completed off of our roof deck. I had received a bid from a large roofing company in Tacoma and CJK Legacy came in with their bid considerably less and I was not upsold on unnecessary work. Daniel who completed the project also identified some dry rot and replaced the appropriate framing. I am very pleased with how this was completed and the shingles that were used match the shingles of my home on the upper roof. I highly recommend CJK Legacy for the quality of their craftsmanship, professionalism, as well as their fair and honest price. Communication is also excellent with Noemi and her team. They are also creative in regards to providing solutions whenever there are obstacles in a project. They will provide you with the best options so you can make an informed decision. One of the big box store was contracted and this store unfortunately used a contractor that did a terrible job resulting in numerous electrical code violations and poor quality of work in general. After filing multiple complaints with this store and with the state, the store replaced the contractor with CJK Legacy Investment. What a huge difference! Essentially starting all over, Noemi personally inspected the home and her team went right to work. Noemi and her team kept us informed daily on the status of the project and her team quickly gained our trust. CJK fixed all of the mistakes from the previous contractor and the quality of the work and the professionalism of her team was simply amazing. The parents are very happy with the results and so am I. Very disappointing and frustrating…read more I am not knowledgeable about the market so I hired an advisor with Schwab. I felt my gains in 4 years were small relative to the market growth. I began making withdrawals for some real estate investing and my Schwab advisor advised me to hire a second financial manager. Though the market has been volatile it rebounded to July levels in November. But during that time I had lost over 15% of my portfolio, with two financial advisors. I am now waiting on hold a second time for a representative to try to explain it to me. The first call was dropped and the broker left a voicemail with a number for the main line to start all over again. When trying to get an explanation from one advisor I was told that they were doing me a favor by representing me with less than a $1 million portfolio, and that they had "lost money when (I) lost money". I would give one star for Scwhab for one of my advisors notifying me that I was losing so much money, and for the Charles Schwab rep. who opened the investigation into the lost funds. My free advice to Schwab is to spend more on clients and getting referrals and less on advertising which can yield poor Yelp ratings.
