Because I'm the only black guy there and I sound like the guy you spoke to the other day? That's racial profiling. But that wasn't the end he actually came from round his counter followed me outside and stepped into my face to challenge me to a fight, all while I'm still holding my 1 year old. He's lucky I didn't send him A&E for that. My kids were frightened and scared because of that prick!

Me and my friends all played this outrageous track upstairs in a pub racing again each other. Firstly you pay your money and then register to get your driving licence which is quite fun you can use a fake name and you can even take a photo of yourself to add to it. You then get a print out. Now you go and choose your car / driving seat (which was like a driving seat) with a steering wheel that you could adjust to bring nearer yourself. You then place your made up driving licence under scanner to get started. The cars are very detailed and robust. Thank goodness they were robust as I kept on crashing my car and going backwards and sideways buts that's just because anything to do with cars I am useless. It was a great laugh though and everyone else seemed to be driving ok just not me, Really good fun and great atmosphere upstairs and downstairs in the Four Thieves. The car racing was definitely a great way to end the night.

Initially advised to pay an extra £60 for an automatic car, I later discovered that the chosen experience could accommodate automatic cars without this costly upgrade. This approach feels disingenuous and left me questioning the integrity of their customer advice. Secondly, despite booking and paying for 8 laps per person, we were told we would only receive 4 laps each. This inconsistency and lack of transparency in fulfilling the booking are deeply disappointing. Moreover, the overall organization and management of the event were severely lacking. We booked for a 2:00pm session but ended up waiting for hours due to overbooking issues & only got in a car after 4:30pm. This mismanagement not only caused frustration but also resulted in wasted time and undermined the special occasion we were there to celebrate. Additionally, the condition of the car provided was substandard and unacceptable. The vehicle displayed signs of neglect, including visible moss growth between the mirrors and malfunctioning windscreen wipers. Such poor maintenance reflects poorly on Drift Limits' commitment to customer satisfaction and safety. - Drift Limits have denied these issues to me but I saw them very clearly. To make matters worse, my attempt to address these issues directly with Drift Limits was met with a dismissive response. Their reply was brief, and they did not seem interested in investigating or acknowledging most of the issues raised, instead deflecting by referring to terms and conditions that were not adequately disclosed prior to the experience. In summary, my experience at Drift Limits was marred by misleading practices, poor organization, and a lack of attention to basic service standards. I would caution anyone considering their services to thoroughly evaluate alternatives before committing to Drift Limits. They value money more than customer service. I expect Drift Limits to respond to this review with an explanation for each point how somehow it was the customers fault & explained in the t&c's I accepted etc, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend trusting their response in the slightest.

Would I be drowning in champagne after putting my house up on the loser? What we got was a nice day out - dressed up, looking smart, having a flutter. It wasn't quite the glamorous affair I'd had in mind. We'd booked in for a Champagne Afternoon Tea and Blues package. The staff were nice and friendly. The champagne was ice cold. The afternoon tea we VERY mediocre and took ages to arrive. Sadly the biggest let down was the crowd. Lovely as everyone was, it wasn't exactly high rollers and the upper crust. It was every day folk like me, wearing nice clothes and having a gamble. Hen parties, groups of mates. All very nice, but just not quite what I was hoping. A nice day out with the family or with a group of friends.

All in all, it's a good day out, and it doesn't have to cost the earth. Yes, you can bet your month's wagesbut you don't have to. I go and bet a quid or two on each race, and assume I will lose. Any wins are a bonus, and it can still be a reasonably priced fun day out.
