Ace absolutely delivered great service, staff and price. We had to remove a large section of concrete floor with terrazzo for a bath remodel. Regular tile crew wasted 3 hours with small saw, jack hammers and even a gas powered concrete saw (which was incredibly loud, slow and dusty). I finally told them to quit trying and went to Yelp. Owner Brian picked up first ring. I explained the job, he gave me an immediate quote and scheduled for the next day. In the morning I got a call from his cutting team leader, Brandon. Oh oh, I thought. They're going to move the job back. Nope, they wanted to come *early*. Great news! Brandon, Trevor and Joey showed up on time. They were professional, friendly and answered all my questions. The magic (expensive) piece of equipment is a hydraulic compressor that drives a water cooled saw. Not much noise and NO DUST AT ALL. It cuts concrete like cake and is amazing to watch. See pix. The crew removed all the cut concrete. When I called Brian to pay I explained that my crew would do the concrete fill because we had to wait for plumbing inspection. He credited me back $200! Bottom line is that if you need to cut concrete for any reason (and if you need to repair it later) call Ace.
