Large selection of products and knowledgeable associates asked about what I was looking for and what would work best for me. The manager came out to measure and discuss how the work would be done and go over possible additional charges based on my existing flooring. He provided a quote in a very timely manner and we scheduled the date! They assigned a two man team who showed up promptly on time each morning. The installers were amazing. They took such care in my home and were so respectful and efficient! They assisted with some installation questions I had and got right to work. They were so careful moving my furniture around and I was so touched that they made sure my bed area was cleared at the end of their upstairs workdays so I didn't have to sleep on the couch. They used plastic sheeting to mask off closet and bathroom contents to keep the dust down as much as possible due to the floor leveling process. They set up shop in my garage and at the end of each of the 5 days tidied the work spaces and swept up the garage very thoroughly. F and L..... thank you so much. I know I said it a lot but I really love the excellent job you did! I am so happy with the outcome. I love my floors and give OC Hardwood the highest praise possible!!! My neighbors and friends love the floors and I'm glad I grabbed a couple of business cards because they've been given away to interested parties! My two favorite comments.... What kind of wood is this? LVP!! This looks like House and Gardens TV! My previous cat had passed away November 2025 and I knew I wanted to have the flooring redone before adopting another. They finished on a Friday afternoon and I was able to adopt a rescue cat 2 days later. I do recommend boarding any pets as the work would be quite frightening to them. This was a big deal for me... I am extremely picky and felt such confidence in F and L as consummate professionals as the work progressed. Thank you OC Hardwood! You made my flooring dream come true!!

I was looking for someone to make a carpet runner for the split stair case. I consulted with a few…read morecompanies from yelp but many of them reported that they do not do that anymore; only straight carpet install. Ryan was the last one I contacted and he was the only one who said he could make it happen. He did caution me the price for stair runners tend to be more expensive. If it was not within budget, having the stairs carpeted would also be an option. I agreed to the ball park price. He came out during my home remodel and measured the stairs. Prior to completing the contract information, I found out that my steps were not going to be wood and would only be vinyl. The carpet would not be able to be nailed into the steps. I had to think of a creative way since I really wanted a runner. I asked if they would be able to tape or glue the tops and staple the faceboard. Martine the installer was on vacation so Ryan said he would ask when he returned. I followed up a couple days after Martine returned from vacation and he confirmed it would be doable. My original color ended up matching my current floors too well so I stopped by the shop to look at other samples they had on the floor. Aliyah was very kind, helpful and between the three of us ladies (myself, Aliyah and my friend Alma), we decided on a new color to better match my handrails. Install day was scheduled, then re-scheduled due to an incident with the installer. Once everything was square, Martine came out to measure and cut the carpet. Professional and efficient. The carpet would then be sent to binding. One week later, install happened on 7/4/21. One piece was missing and Martine was able to pick it up on 7/6/21 and complete the install. The stair runner looks amazing. It was a pricey investment but it looks beautiful. I hope it stays but I understand, we had to think outside of the box for this project. Thank you for a great experience. I highly recommended these guys!

Me and my husband had a great interaction with the lady who helped us with our tiles. However, when…read moremy contractor went to get the tile and grout that we ordered, they gave them the wrong grout color. I was so upset. My contractor's people already laid down the grout and Floor and Decor wouldn't pay for the labor to redo the grout. Instead they gave us a seal with the correct color to try to make it right. However when my contractor's people put it down, it just didn't have the same effect as grout. Because we couldn't afford the labor for them to redo the grout, we just have to live with the discoloration of the grout. On top of that, the tile that we chose had odd pieces to them that looked stained. You really don't know what things would look like until you purchase it. And of course I wasn't home to supervise their work, because I had a job to go to pay for all the work that didn't turn out the way I expected. Needless to say, I suggest you go to Lowe's or Home Depot for tiles because they actually are a little bit more affordable. Floor and Decor as actually expensive.

I previously had a horrible experience with another flooring contractor (completely unrelated to…read morethis company), which made me very nervous about going through the process again. The flooring from that past job began breaking, even bowing at one point, and when concerns were raised, the contractor brushed it off and said to give it time to settle. It never improved and now just creaks, but we eventually gave up on trying to fix it. Overall, it was a nightmare experience. Because of that, I was extremely cautious when choosing new flooring this time around. I asked a lot of questions, sometimes more than once, to help ease my nerves. Jacob was the one who helped me, and he was so patient and helpful. He was very down to earth, explained everything in layman's terms, and spoke to me like a friend rather than talking down to me. In an industry that is primarily male, I've often felt dismissed or spoken down to, which can be incredibly frustrating. Jacob treated me with respect and like a person, which I truly appreciated. Jacob also helped me choose the flooring, and the process was surprisingly easy. I told him I wanted a light-colored floor, and he selected three options that closely matched what I had in mind. It was such a relief not to sift through endless samples, which can be very overwhelming. I was able to make a decision quickly, and the end result was perfect. I absolutely love how it turned out.

Most flooring is ordered by Kingsly and either delivered to Kingsly or truck to your location for a few hundred dollars. We purchased 40 cartons of Brazilian Cherry and had it delivered to our home. The guys in the truck were nice enough to unload them into our garage as each carton weighs 50 lb Gave them a nice tip. Normally it's tailgate service meaning they pull up and you take the stuff off the truck. Kingsly also custom makes their own nosing for stairs. It's 80 bucks for a strip, the strips are pretty long. We spent about $9000. Either you or your flooring company should measure carefully when ordering. Our cartons contained 29 sq ft. Because if you buy too much they won't take back less than 100 sq ft and charge a hefty percent restocking fee.
