DO NOT USE THESE COWBOYS!…read more The car broke down after 17 days and only 900 miles driven.. the AA recovered the vehicle where on the report it showed that the vehicle had been recorded as having cam belt failure 3 months before they sold me it... The car went into an independent garage and they had the car in for 3 weeks and couldn't find what was wrong with it.. all we know is that it was something to do with the timing chain which could've been that they fitted it with an inferior part or a mistake was made when fixing it but either way it lasted 900 miles and then broke down. I was quoted £12,000 by Jaguar for a whole new engine which they thought it needed! Flexy cars took no responsibility, refused to cover the recovery of the vehicle and insisted it was my responsibility (it legally is not), recovery was quoted at £600 due to distance. Fast forward 12 months and there's too much to mention but long story short, I hired a lawyer and we went through an extremely long winded legal process.. made long by their refusal to meet any of the deadlines, do any of the things the court ordered and constantly avoiding contact, dragging their heels, trying to muddy the waters and create confusion and ultimately getting extension after extension from the court, all the time costing ME the innocent customer who had been sold a duff car more and more money, time, energy and stress. They based their whole defence on the wording my lawyer had used calling it a cam belt fault (which we got from the AA report) when the car has a timing chain. These things are practically exactly the same thing and they were just doing anything they could to avoid responsibility. PLEASE AVOID FLEXY CARS THEY ARE LIARS, DISHONEST, SELL FAULTY CARS AND ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY! I've learnt valuable lessons from this experience but I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake. They should be shut down in an instant. PLEASE DONT USE THESE HORRIBLE SCAMMERS AND SPREAD THE WORD 0/5 if I could give minuses I WOULD.

Thus after having this problem with a few garages I decided to try out a service for the first time at the tyre specialists Kwik fit. Normally in the past they didn't do services but in the ever competitive market of car maintainance they have got into the act too. So popped into the Acton branch and pleasantly surprised with the customer service from the helpful staff. No problem in booking when I wanted and the work areas looked spacious and well maintained . They fully explained the costs and mentioned that a full check would be done before the service carried out. This to advise of any immediate action they felt needed to be taken or other things that the driver needed to be aware of. All costs of extra work would be discussed before being carried out Also the customer would be asked what type of part they wanted i.e. cheaper cost one or more expensive premium range. Have had experience before of expensive parts fitted when the more cheaper version would have been just as efficient. So having bought my car duly received call of checks noted. All was explained clear and concisely and costs given. On work completed given a checklist of all things done and engineers report Also had option of looking at old parts replaced. Overall happy with the work done and thought this branch was really good.

Recently popped down to get a minor matter on the car seen to. A Yaris car was in the showroom so I…read morelooked over it and was surprised by the specification. I asked if it was for sale, however they referred me to Shaw's Corner Redhill where their used car showroom and sales were based. So I trolled along, parking in the rear car park. A Yaris was in that showroom ,an Hybrid so it was called. I negotiated a good price for the part exchange, and the necessary forms and deposit was arranged. A short trip around the block was arranged, and the car would be ready within a few days, all that was needed was to notify the insurance company . The car had free MOT and road Tax apparently, that was a bonus. Very grateful to Frank whom very efficiently went through all the paper work required, leaving only one thing to arrange ,the personal insurance and notification to arrange.
