I've had an excellent relationship with Epicuren (we have retailed their products for 10+ years) until interacting with Michelle Fenske, Director of Sales and Education. For the past three years, Epicuren and my business have partnered to donate to a women's church event organized by one of our long-standing clients. This year was different. Previously, a simple phone call or email to my rep sufficed. This time, after a call, I was told to email my rep and subsequently received a lengthy email from the Director of Sales, Michelle Fenske. I was surprised that such a simple request for samples required so much effort for approval. After the long list of questions, I asked how much the samples would cost (as I was willing to pay for them). However, Michelle never answered my request and responded in a manner that necessitated posting this review. I was floored by how she spoke to a long-standing client and hope to avoid such interactions in the future. Her tone was very condescending, as if she had nothing better to do. Strangely, I get the feeling that explaining the women's church event wasn't considered a sufficient reason for the donation. In the past, they also donated to fire victims upon my request. My business regularly makes generous donations, and I only asked Epicuren because this client has been buying their products from me for many years. Because of this interaction, I will make it clear to my clients and fellow estheticians how my business was treated. Fortunately, I was able to call another company, Le Mieux--an AMAZING serum company--and got samples. :) read more
