Brooks was amazing!…read more I threw my dad an 80th birthday party at Proximity Hotel in Greensboro. The hotel recommended a company but it was like pulling teeth to get them to call me back. Once they called me back it took days to get an estimate. In the meantime I found Triangle Sound Service. Brooks called me back quickly like within 20-30 min. He asked me a few questions about the event, the DJ equipment and desired set up and I had an estimate 10 min later. The day of the event, he confirmed again, showed up at the time agreed. He set up the table & equipment and reviewed functioning with my DJ. He returned at the agreed pick up time as well. Everything went perfectly.

Sarah and Eric have done a lot of weddings together, so we were expecting a pretty spectacular event with both of them--we were definitely not disappointed! Eric was easy to work with, super responsive, and very professional. He made awesome song recommendations, and even played a mixed track (which made it look like the DJ messed up the song) from my dad for our dance. He did the music for both our ceremony and our reception. Eric and I planned nearly all the wedding music via email, which was really helpful for me with my busy job. He also offered for plenty of phone calls and to meet in person, but I was able to get exactly what I needed via email. I appreciated the ability to help me any way he could! The day of the wedding was flawless. The music was perfectly executed and timed. I didn't notice anything except pure perfection and an amazing party--exactly what I wanted from a DJ! He even played my MOH's request twice because she missed it the first time, which was so nice! Eric played a perfect mix of music and the crowd danced the entire reception. He gave me warnings when we were running out of time to fit in the garter and bouquet tosses. I kept getting pulled into conversations and not paying attention to time, but he was able to subtly ask me what I wanted to do throughout the night. I told him eventually to throw out the bouquet and garter tosses since the party was going so well, so he just played those songs as music to dance to instead. It worked perfectly! Eric got really into the party, put on props from the photobooth (which he also provided), and danced around with people. He felt really engaged and we loved that! The reality is, the DJ, a self proclaimed military professional, couldn't get along with my venue owner, interrupted me, the bride, during my receiving line to tell me he couldn't get along with the owner. He stopped me once more during the wedding, to complain about something else. In the weeks after the wedding, no less than ten people approached me about how rude the DJ/owner was to my guests and people that worked at the venue. That is unacceptable. The father-daughter and mother-son dances were combined because he didn't have the song we requested, and then the song kept skipping and couldn't be played so the dance was ruined. I realize he helped us out by stepping in last minute when our other DJ canceled, and the music was ok in general- but the professionalism was lacking and made a significant impact on our wedding day, sadly. I wanted it not to bother me. To top it off, a piece of property owned by the drop zone was used to move his equipment because he didn't bring anything to move it. After the wedding, the piece of property was noted to be missing. I called him to ask if he had it and he said no. Ok, well, you're the last person to have had it and now it's not there. It's August and the property still hasn't returned.... Given everything else, yes I have reason to doubt his integrity and I think he has it. Very disappointed.

All of his equipment provided perfect sound for the ceremony and reception. He brought all of the right equipment and had a solution for all of the different challenges the ceremony and reception areas presented. His music selections were appropriate for the audience and had everyone (even the older generations) dancing. He interacted with all of the guests in a very natural, professional and friendly way. He worked seamlessly with the rest of the vendors on site. I would definitely recommend Damien.

I've never used his video services but have noted it for future events. Most of my events range from 500 to 700 people and a DJ is such an important part of the evening. We also rented the photo booth and it was a HUGE HIT! I am really not a fan of the photo booths you sit in with a curtain because only a couple people can get in the photo. Jay had a great setup with a printer and props! And we were able to text or email the photos to yourself! By far, the most functional and useful photo booth I have seen at any wedding. He…read moreplayed multiple songs off of our do not play list, he only played about half (13/18) of the songs we gave him to play, and he repeatedly tried to make our reception all about himself. I told him specifically no line dancing, but the second song of the reception he played the conga line. I tried to make the best of it and being the bride I went to the front. But no Wesley got out of the booth, mic in hand, and cut me off to be the leader of the conga line. We told him specifically we did not want him to be on the mic at all. All of our friends are 20s-30s, know how to dance, and we didn't need any announcements. He repeatedly ignored that, came out on the dance floor with the mic, trying to tell our company how to dance. He told my extended family that they couldn't sit in the front 2 rows of our ceremony because they were for "immediate family members." But my immediate family was in the wedding party, so in all of our ceremony pictures it looks empty except for my parents sitting by themselves. He also spoke very rude and condescendingly to multiple guests and family members of me and my husbands. He played Mambo number 5 a total of 2.5 times! I had a special song I wanted the last reception song to be, but he ended it with a different song, and played the song I wanted as he ordered people to go outside for the exit. I apologize for this rant, but I waited months to write this review to let my emotions calm down from how hurt I was. I didn't want this happening to another bride! Instead of offering an apology or any sort of refund, all Wesley did was give me a bunch of excuses as to why he did what he did. Do NOT trust this man. He will RUIN your wedding!

He is very professional and will work with you the months and weeks (and days!) before the wedding to ensure he knows what you need and that everything will run smoothly with the music. Prior to the wedding my husband and I took dance lessons from him and they were great! Wes helped us pick up new dance moves for our first dance and we wow-ed ourselves as well as our friends and family! Wes even did a mini-dance lesson during cocktail hour for interested guests - definitely a hit with our friends! He kept everyone interested in dancing and took song requests. Lighting and sound equipment he brings are professional and top of the line. Sound quality was perfect! We've heard so many wonderful comments from our guests about the DJ and music at our wedding.
