His approach is highly individualized, with careful attention to each patient's unique features and goals rather than a standardized treatment plan. He demonstrates exceptional precision and a refined artistic eye, producing results that are both natural and aesthetically balanced. His ability to combine technical expertise with a nuanced understanding of facial and body harmony truly sets him apart. In addition to his clinical excellence, Dr. Lavey is warm, attentive, and deeply committed to patient care. He takes the time to ensure clear communication and alignment on expectations, which creates a strong sense of trust and confidence throughout the process. His office staff reflects the same level of professionalism--welcoming, respectful, and highly organized--contributing to a seamless and comfortable experience. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Lavey. His expertise, integrity, and outstanding results make him exceptional in his field. I could not be happier with his brilliant work!

Still traumatized by his ugly actions, I fled. However, I soon contacted him to accept the proposed refund. Sadly, he reneged. I guess that his conscience moved him to call in a friend and fellow plastic surgeon to consult with me in his (Dr. Lavey's) office. This physician recommended redoing the surgery, but he also made it very clear that some of what was done could not be undone or corrected. I filed a complaint with the Medical Board of California not only for the damage due to his surgical ineptitude, disrespectful and absolutely horrifying behavior, and fraudulent offer.

He was driving and collapsed forward in pain and could not regain a sitting position. It took 6-8 weeks of testing, imaging, medications and overwhelming frustration and concern. We ended up in Dr. Gardiner's office where he carefully examined the data, including approximately 50 needle samplings through our son's liver to the sight of a 2 in. mass. After Dr. Gartiner's review, he looked our 22 yr old son in the eye and said, Let's just get it out and evaluate the entire mass. My son was relived. The surgery had many complications since the mass had grown around the vena cava -- one wrong move and he could have bled out on the table. The diagnosis came in stages, took 6 weeks, and was found to be an extremely rare type of "tumor", an infection may be a better term. We were referred to the appropriate doctor/medical discipline and he was on Big Guns antibiotics for months. I give Dr. Gardiner credit for saving our son's life -- it was really close! He was a guiding light (BTW: SRV Hospital gets a D- for their part -- refused to give him any attention, not even water which was approved as was food, and the nurses just ignored him. We went to the Ombudsman who was nice, but the nursing staff... something very wrong!

I have a reaction to most drugs and he seemed to work with me regarding this. It's not that I'm looking forward to any surgery, but he put me at ease and I'm not as apprehensive as I previously was. UPDATE: I had the surgery and there were 3 hernias that needed repair. The doctor and staff did a great job. The surgery lasted about 3 hours, more or less. The pain was under control, however I did get very sick on the narcotics they gave me. I can't handle narcotics, so that wasn't really their fault. It is the second day and although I spend much time resting, I think each day gets better. I will continue to recommend Dr. Gardiner as a very good surgeon, and If I or my husband ever need surgery again, this is the doctor of our choice.

Dr. Lee had a very cool attitude towards me after he looked at my passed records. He knew I wasn't one of his regular patients, even though my other gastro Dr. said he was the one that did my gallbladder surgery. Had no record of it!! He couldn't help me at all. He just recommended a pain management group who I have already seen, and would NOT see again. This pain group asked me to order a special pill that I've never heard of and that was out of state, pretty expensive AND not covered by insurance. Not sounding to normal to me at all. Dr. Lee really didn't seem interested in helping me at all. The visit was a waste of time and very disappointing.

This doctor is also known as Yen Chung (Andrew) lee…read more My husband accompanied me to see this doctor/surgeon. We both initially felt Dr. Lee was a bit arrogant. My husband mentioned a painful bodily issue I had experienced and Dr. Lee completely cut him off. He was somewhat dismissive regarding my pain issues following surgery done by Dat Tien Nguyen. He commented that I should simply be happy that the two breast lumps were not cancerous and basically to get over it; meaning the injuries and pain. I told him I was grateful the lumps were not cancerous, yet my pain was unbearable and I had blood oozing from my nipple. After he saw the blood coming out of my nipple he seemed to understand my pain and issues were legit. He did order blood work and an ultrasound, which was good. He reaffirmed what other pain specialists had told me; the nerve damage suffered during Nguyen's surgery would be with me for life. The nerve pain was and IS in my breast and runs down into my ribs. I told Dr. Lee I had seen Dr. Peter Wong at Tri Valley Physicians about a week prior to my visit with him. I told him Dr. Wong prescribed an antibiotic for an infection, which I soon learned I did not have. Dr. Lee also reaffirmed that patients should not be treated with antibiotics if they do not have an infection; as was my case. Keep that in mind folks; be certain you actually DO have an infection before being treated for an infection. I had the ultrasound performed, yet wasn't called with the results as promised. I called his office and an employee, Frida took my message regarding the test results. Frida (hope I am spelling her name correctly) was a gem. She is a nice lady, compassionate and very professional. She gave Dr. Lee my message, yet he still failed to call with the test results. I called again the following day, as I'd been waiting on pins and needles for the test results. Frida said my test results were setting on his desk and had been for a couple days. I could tell she was frustrated too that he had not yet called me. Finally, Dr. Lee did call with the test results, yet he did not speak to me. Instead he left very detailed, private medical testing information on my answering machine. I was livid when I retrieved the message. I called him and expressed being angered by him leaving the detailed testing results on my answering machine for my children to hear and he did not care. ...HIPAA violation. You guessed it, another doctor added to the "Do Not Recommend" list. Sadly, that list has become very long.
