I had a bit of unfinished business at CNB so I went in yesterday and cleaned things up, a great feeling. I had called earlier to get exact figures and spoke with a gentlemen by the name of Angelo. Ang is new at this branch and is in customer relations management. I enjoyed meeting him and he went above and beyond to close things out for me. I was impressed. A young man by the name of Noah who was the bank teller working with Angelo on my account was also very helpful and polite. I definitely have to give CNB a 5 Star rating for their professional courtesy and business ethics.

Wow! What a difference a mile makes…read more This is a small, extremely busy bank, conveniently located on Ridge Road East, between Hudson and Joseph Avenues. The receptionist here is the absolute best. She is warm, welcoming, professional and friendly. After the disastrous visit to the new ES&L a mile away on Hudson Avenue near Titus Avenue, I was so glad to be able to come here and do the business I went there to do. The tellers are always nice and friendly and I'm always amazed that if that they either recognize me or remember my name out of the hundreds of people that they must serve every day. I mentioned my disastrous experience at the grand opening of the branch on Hudson Avenue today, and the teller was absolutely surprised and apologized for my terrible experience. She asked if she could put in a complaint (she said they needed to know about that experince) and that she could do it anonymously. I told her she could use my name and again she said she was sorry that I had that experience. Again, I can't say enough about this bank, I've never had anything less than a stellar experience here. Perhaps those involved at the Hudson Avenue branch should spend a day here and learn how they can give customers such an experience, too.

I did business at the Hudson avenue, Lyell avenue and East avenue locations. But I may add that their interest rates left little to be desired on savings accounts. So I started looking. One night after work while watching the evening news I started seeing ads for Key Bank. Plus they had a bonus/gift offering for new customers. At this time for starting a checking account,(with direct deposit) and a certain amount in your savings, the customer would receive a $300.00 dollar bonus after the waiting period. After seeing this ad for a few weeks I went in to Key Bank and sat down with Ellen Meagher. A long standing employee there. I explained I was employed, had some savings, plus going to start receiving my Social Security. After listening to her, things started to click. Plus the starting interest for savings (guaranteed) was 1.5, and if it goes up, you also get that rate. But guaranteed the 1.5 for the first year if I remember correctly. To me this is great. Plus they have other special programs for customers. I'm very pleased and one final thing I would like to add is this. At this bank Ellen Meagher who represented me keeps in touch with new programs for customers.

keybank does loans. the issue I have is they don't have notifications for their clients. only…read morestatement as when things are due. If you miss a payment, you aren't notified until a late charge is assessed and the payment goes to claims. they make you go to a third party to pay. This is only after 10 days. Bigger banks have notifications for when payments are due and if you missed the due date. these are extremely helpful notifications for busy people. the fact that KeyBank doesn't have them is why I rank them low. they don't want to help their customers pay on time. they prefer the late fees.

My husband drove from Dewitt Michigan to Owasso, Michigan, which is half an hour drive turned in paperwork never heard anything back from them in April. We got a notice from them and another law firm that we were in foreclosure never gave us any indication that we were not approved. Never asked for anything else we called. They said we were approved don't worry Then they made us cross out original dates on the loan change all the documents resubmit one time but for almost 5 times luckily we found a different that refinanced us immediately and we are still getting calls asking us for things for this loan With citizens That is already been canceled. Not only did we send them the same exact documents they asked for probably at least 10 times we took the documents to the a half an hour away probably no less than six times There loss mitigation I'm assuming has to be outsourced to Asia because I never could speak with one person that did not speak in broken English. No one could understand us, and we could not understand them. I wrote the CEO. I got some action but in the whole sphere of things beware of Citizens Bank the worst customer service ever!
