Gracie's Breakfast delivers a hearty, well-balanced meal that hits every savory and sweet craving…read more  The main dish features two fresh, cage-free local eggs cooked sunny-side up with vibrant, velvety yolks. They're paired with savory, thick-cut Irish bacon and a generous portion of house-made potato rounds, seasoned well with a great crisp on the outside while staying soft inside.  The bread selection really sets this meal apart. You get perfectly toasted sourdough with house-made apple butter on the side, plus a slice of grilled banana nut bread. The banana bread has a light dusting of powdered sugar and is served warm with a generous dollop of whipped cinnamon butter that melts right in.  To top it off, the iced pumpkin spice latte served in a glass jar is beautifully spiced and creamy without being overly sweet--a perfect pairing for a rich morning meal.

The sweet bread board was delicious and a great way to try the variety of bread. Would highly recommend the banana nut bread if you're looking to do just one of them. This place is known for their bacon so we also had to try the bacon sampler and I think the hardwood bacon was everyone's favorite. Service was fast and friendly. The only thing I wish they had was a fresh fruit side option for our daughter to go with her food but luckily there's plenty of great farm stands nearby

We were recently in the area for our son's wedding. I desperately wanted to find a place that made…read moregood dried beef gravy over toast, a Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. We saw this diner and dedicated to stop. I had my doubts judging a book by its cover, so I opened up Facebook to check reviews. The general consensus was that the food is good, but the service needed work. So, considering I can't eat service but I can eat good food, we went in. The first lady to greet us did so with a big smile. She was friendly, helpful and kind. Our waitress, Jess, followed soon after. She too came with a smile and a greeting and she listened closely while my wife detailed her food allergies. She was genuinely concerned that my wife would be able to safely eat her meal and took detailed observation of her needs. Me? I got what I was looking for. I found my dried beef gravy over toast and enjoyed that with a side of hashbrowns and sausage links. The sausage was an up charge, but that was fine. It was good and a healthy serving. Sausage was not too spicy but not bland either. The dried beef gravy was a little thicker than I am used to, but it had good flavor, such as I enjoy. Orange juice was actually sweet. It wasn't that sour diner stuff you usually get at such places. Jess came back to our table frequently and made sure we were well taken care of. She was very outgoing and we talked for a little. She celebrated with us about our son's wedding and congratulated us. The meal was good. The service was good. I came close to a four star review over cleanliness. This is clearly an old diner and the floors were stained and a bit greasy. I believe they were probably mopped, but they should probably be stripped and cleaned professionally. The floor was pretty grimy. Not filthy with food, just greasy. Maybe it's a diner thing. The tables were well stocked with a wide range of everything from creamers and sugar to condiments. The booths were roomy and accommodated my size. The bathrooms were barely acceptable. I know people can make a mess of a bathroom, so I always try to grade on a curve, but the men's room was pretty dirty. The mirror was covered in hard water stains, the trash can was overflowing and the floor was dirty. I spared my reader a picture of the urinal, but it was pretty bad. I almost bumped it down a star for bathrooms. The windows in the diner also appear to be water damaged, giving it a worn out look from inside. Not material to the food or service though. Parking is ample. ADA spots are available. Overall I'd say quality of food was five. Service was five. Cleanliness was four stars. If you're looking for something nice, this isn't it. If you're looking for nostalgia or grandma's cooking, this probably isn't it. If you're looking for a place to grab a decent bite to eat and run, it is a solid contender any day.

CUSTOMERS DON'T COME HERE!!! I PAID for EVERYTHING I used so don't EVER call me a thief!!!…read more I'm extremely disappointed by the way they handled this as you can see the TEXT I received from Cocalico Coffee accusing me of stealing because I added some cream to my latte and added four Splenda packets. I have never used or took any syrups from this establishment, I don't even use syrups, too much sugar!! I never even took extra Splenda or napkins. The MANY times I've been in there now I feel like I'm singled out and have been being watched the entire time. Why?? Creepy to be quite honest! I feel violated!! If there was a concern about how I was customizing my drink or about the amount of cream or sweetener I used, I would have been perfectly willing to discuss it. However, being told that using a small amount of cream and four Splendas is "considered stealing" AT YOUR ESTABLISHMENT made me feel incredibly disrespected and unnecessarily accusatory. I have been a customer and have supported this business for quite awhile, so receiving a message that essentially labels me a thief over this I'm disgusted. The bracelets I bought I cut up as well, "self care club" and "can't steal my joy" seems hypocritical to wear. So they are in the garbage. Put anything behind the counter if you want to measure each drop and packet. Don't forget a dropper. Customers deserve to be treated with courtesy and respect. I hope management will reconsider how situations like this is communicated in the future. I'm done. It comes down to cream I used to top off my latte and a couple of splenda? I don't need you and neither does the people who support me! My family, my friends and ALL of my followers have my back and are coming with me! Don't eat the food either because they're cheap and nothing tastes good. My kid could make a sandwich better than this with play dough.

Absolutely and "udderly" amazing! Our party of 3 all agreed…read moreit was worth the 30+ minute drive, and will visit again. Beverages consisted of: Cinnamon Latte (served slightly warm, but still very good, and a generous amount), Coke Float, and a Raspberry Tea. Soups: 1 cup and 1 bowl of Lobster bisque (hot creamy and a sweet buttery flavor), and a cup of Turkey Bowtie Vegetable (delicious and full of turkey and whole vegetables. The turkey chunks were slightly dry but still tasty.) Main dishes: Ruben sandwich (One of the best Rubens I ever had! The bread was delicious and beautifully grilled, ample meat with a perfect balance of cheese, sauerkraut and dressing), Turkey Club, sans tomatoes (again, perfect balance of ingredients with beautifully toasted bread), and a Grilled Ham and Cheese (good and well made). All the sandwiches came with crispy chips and pickles. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! Desserts: Meadow Tea ice cream with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles- a total winner! The favor was impressive and worth another future trip! Guernsey- absolutely incredible with its hot caramel and nutty flavor combination! Wow!! Our waitress was super sweet and attentive, without hovering. She was prompt, polite, and professional. The ambience is laidback and surrounds visitors with a fun and uniquely decorated atmosphere. The noise level is average and space between tables is ample enough for personal and intimate conversations within your private table. The bathrooms were super clean and even carried the theme with wooden stall doors and ice cream scoop handles. The only downside was there were no paper towels to dry your hands. I would recommend stopping by this fun and quirky restaurant/creamery. If you don't stay for some comfort food or desserts, take a pint home. You can even sit outside and enjoy a cone if you would just like to enjoy the rural air on a summer evening. Bonus- if someone you know loves cows, ice cream, or comfort food- this place is a total winner!
