I am an 80 year young person and love to hear the children laughing and playing with the other children... Also I enjoy talking to all ages .. I have some physical problems .. I have a walker that I use if I'm walking very far , but that doesn't stop me .. .. They ducks are so much fun to observe how protective they are with the babies .. a great experience for the children too .. They have pellets to feed the ducks and it's a real learning experience for children also .. Going to Lititz Park makes u feel young ... I especially love how friendly everyone is ... There's always something going on there ..This weekend there's the Arts and Craft festival.... many people come to look and appreciate how talented so many people are .. i am really looking forward to enjoying spending time there .... In the winter there's the Ice festival.. and the ice carvings are just amazing .. I plan to walk down.. to watch the artists carve the their amazing pieces ..it's a great experience for all ages ...you won't be disappointed.. This spacious park is in historic Lititz and comes with its own deep history. There are plenty of benches, shade, a fountain, a concert area, and playgrounds. Located right across the street from my hotel, (Residence Inn) and the Wegmans shopping centre, is this sprawling, beautifully maintained park; replete with swings, slides, playground equipment, benches, paved walkways, amphitheater, PETTING ZOO, and WIDE open spaces. What a great space! The park is dog friendly, and I spent over an hour there, just walking my dogs through the park, while the Misses took the baby to run and jump and play on the multiple playgrounds here. The park is WIDE open, very clean and everyone looked to be having a blast. It's a little old ladies going on walks for exercise, while people jog and children play on the swings type park.

It's a great place to linger on a nice day. We got to enjoy their summer concert series on a Sunday. This is a very busy park so come early to grab a parking spot. There is a lot of large equipment, but not a whole lot of variety or imagination in the different interactive functions. Reeves Park's playground (Phoenixville), Smith Memorial Playground (Fairmount Park), Freedom Playground (Haverford), and Aston Twp's new playground all have really imaginitive stuff, and just as large of an expanse (if not larger). I also have to give props to the Reeves Park and Freedom playgrounds for being fenced in (Smith is, but it's so big, the fence is not as containing as it could be). Kids Dream is not fenced, unfortunately, because it is a layer of safety I always appreciate, for young kids who run, and also just to keep out wandering dogs (the ones on a long leash whose caretakers aren't paying attention) or to dissuade sketchy people from hanging around (sorry but they're everywhere). There is a nearby walking trail, and it's also adjacent to township offices (shared parking lot). I do have to comment that there was a bit of litter generally around, which is never okay for a kids' playground. Also, this playground is pretty crowded. Parents seemed adequately considerate, but honestly, all the abovementioned playgrounds had a better vibe to me. Maybe because this place was built up by my recommendation and the reviews, but it wasn't as great as my expectations (and comparative experiences).

Boat rental available, prices are honestly steep. Prepare to pay close to $100 for 3 hours depending what you chose to rent. There is NO swimming area. Paragliding is allowed with proper registration. Dog friendly park. With trash receptacles and even doggy bag dispensers which I saw at the far end of the Dam Dam is walkable and a nice place to cool off and feel the breeze coming over the lakes surface.

Why? To me, the lake is big enough to give you some interesting things to see and explore, but not too big that you can't see it all in a few hours. There are two docks you can launch from - one on either side of Brubaker Valley Road. It was mid-morning on a weekday and there were seven or eight other kayaks out there (mostly people fishing) and a few small boats that were also fishing. Plenty of wildlife with a Bald Eagle, a deer, a few Blue Heron and fish constantly jumping out of the water. At the far west end of the lake, where it gets shallow and you come to where it gets fed by the Hammer Creek, you expect to see a lot of ducks, turtles, frogs and since you're at the side of the Speedwell Forge Wolf Sanctuary - you can hear some barking & howling and even catch a few glimpses through the trees of a few of the residents running around. Fwiw, I can imagine that on weekends, this place getting very crowded and while it does have some size to it, compared to some other county/state parks, it's not that big. But for a weekday, it was more than fine. Beautiful. Peaceful. What more could you want?

There is a Porta Potty at the beginning of the trail in the parking lot. The trail is well maintained. The are parts where the elevation is a little steep and long. If you have lunch issues then the elevated parts may be an issue. There is one part where you have to cross the river that requires some balance and walking across stones or through the water, whichever you prefer. The trail has tree roots on it in several parts, so watch your ankles so you don't roll them. There are benches along the way to sit rest on and there are benches at the end of the trail overlooking the falls. The falls has a little pool below it that is fun for the kids who like to wade in it. There are large flat stone spaces where you can sit and observe the falls.

To get to the waterfall you have to walk a path that's about 10-15 minutes. You will have to climb over some rocks in the water in your travels, but once you get to the waterfall you will absolutely love it. *Please note* Wear comfortable shoes because there are some areas that could be potentially dangerous if you don't take your time.
