I learned stuff that I think EVERYONE should learn - about aging, death, the business of care, and how, more often than not, money drives medical care at all places (hospitals, skilled nursing, assisted living, etc). I even learned about Medicare, Medi-Cal, and several diff programs to help people pay for care. Paul and Vanessa are so so knowledgeable and have such huge hearts. They are also talented trainers who know how to keep students engaged; they use simple but effective exercises that enable learning on a deeper level, not just a memorization of facts. I'll be back to attend their free senior seminar on the 3rd Wed of next month to learn even more.

He was then very rude and unprofessional, and even made a racial comment about my husband who is Asian. We are honest people who wanted an honest estimate. My experience at RCI was a unique combination of challenging and rewarding…read more I recently completed the MLT program and was board certified shortly afterwards. Without a doubt, this was one of the most challenging experiences for me in academia, and I have an advanced degree in Biology. So, whatever you do, do not take this program lightly. The material covered is very comprehensive, with certain aspects mirroring year one of medical school. Given the duration of the program, there will unquestionably be times when you're overcome by the sheer volume of material covered in such a short time frame. Whatever you do, **don't get discouraged.** Stay the course. Rest assured, the staff at RCI are there to support you as best as they can. Because your success is a direct reflection of them-- their ability to ensure you are well prepared for the board exam and will make a positive contribution to the medical community at large. You see, everyone has a common goal here. The goal is for you to succeed. Outstanding experience overall. But again, this is far from easy. While the role is that of technician, this is not an "on the surface" academic program. The demand is great, and the bar is high. Although, you've been given somewhat of a head start seeing as the support system at RCI is stellar. The instructors and laboratory training are top tier. What's more, there is an underlying kindness that reverberates throughout the RCI campus fostering a strong sense of hope. But... RCI can only go so far. Be prepared to put in the work. The end result will be everything you hoped it would be (and more) in the healthcare sector. So, what are you waiting for? Enroll now! As RCI says, this is your "Gateway to a New Beginning." You've got this.

In this program at Baldwin Park, Mr. Naseiro taught me how to correct the mistakes from the previous school. Most importantly, I learned about safety and personal protective equipment (PPE). As a result of this program, I obtained my Electrical Trainee Card and can now work in the field. Mr. Naseiro, counselor Ms. Razo, and the front office and financial aid staff have all been amazing in helping me with everything I needed. Thank you to everyone involved. I have a BA in Business Management so when i say she is an excellent teacher I mean it. She motivates students and she reminds me of the movie with James Olmos "Stand and Deliver". This is the kind of teacher we need in all schools. She always has a positive attitude and never in a bad mood. It's never boring in her class and everyone's is captivated by her teaching. Many students have passed their real estate license thanks to her. I also like that she always has a smile and has a welcoming demeanor. I also like that she never makes you feel stupid when you ask questions even though some of them might be lol. She's always well dress and well-groomed and never has messy hair or undo makeup. She really cares about her students and she never rushes to leave and will stay after class if you have any questions. I could truly say she goes beyond the Call of Duty. She seriously reminds me of Tony Robin's the famous motivational speaker. She encourages you and doesn't give up and that's why so many students have passed the exam. God bless her efforts .
