My parents have lived here since 1999 and recommended the practice. My first couple times I was with Dr. Miller, who was great. I needed work done again and Dr. Miller wasn't available so I had myself booked with Dr. Hall. Since about mid-2015 I've been getting all my work done with him. He's got a strange and wonderful sense of humor, a wealth of life-experiences, and a jovial positive attitude. And like Jan K's review states, nothing less than perfect will do. I can't say enough good things about him or his right arm, go-to, sweetest there ever was assistant Sarah. I had my first and hopefully last, implant yesterday. And because of my dental PTSD I'm always a bit stressed. But drilling into my jaw, even with several injections of numbing agent, there was a few moments of severe pain, prior to second round of injections. Those few moments were enough to raise my PTSD. Like I said, the pain stopped after another round of injections, but what made all the difference in the world was Sarah putting her hand on my shoulder. Just a very simple, but firm hand on my left shoulder let me know that it would be okay. Thank you Sarah.

The first time she cleaned my teeth I noticed she didn't smile or try to be pleasant at all. I chalked it up to her having a bad day. But yesterday I stormed out of the office in tears! This was one of the first times since Covid that I had ventured into a medical/dental facility. I was very nervous and needed reassurance not a hostile uncaring attitude. She insisted I remove my mask while asking me the basic health questions. I asked if she had a face shield and she grumbled yes but made no attempt to put one on. I tried diffusing her hostility with an attempt at small talk but was met w a stony silence. At one point I asked to use some hand sanitizer since I didn't see any when entering the building. Karen said "There's the sink! Soap and water!" Again I asked her to put on her face shield and she barked "I'll put it on when I start working on you!" So unprofessional esp during a pandemic! With that I tore the bib from neck and walked out. When I got home I called DrHerring and explained how rude Karen had been. He defended her saying she had been with him for 15 years. Hearing him say that convinced me that this is not a dental practice I would ever go again. Horrible!
