My Wife won a $40.00 Gift Certificate for Enzo in Jackson so on 12/30/23 we went there. My wife ordered a salad and an Eggplant Parmigiana, well I have to say the platter was huge enough for 3 people that I told Pasquale to make them smaller, they definitely make them Extra Family Style. Cheech ordered a Margarita,medium sized thin sliced and crispy. Well we have to say that the food was delicious and fresh. We've been ordering from Enzo's for 9 years, sometimes 2 to 3 times a week most of the time we use our debt card when we order we never give our security code and it always goes through, last night 2/8/2025 the kid who answered the phone said he needed it, I explained to him he did not need it, he insisted so I said cancel the order and his response was ok, I said are you kidding me, try it again he said I need the code I said you must have wrote the card number wrong and he said sometimes it works and sometimes it don't For FN 9 years we have not given the code and it ALWAYS went through So we are done with Enzo's read more

I went on the weekends and the good was really good the restaurant was clean and there is always a spot for car park

We just came across Enzo's and in the past week have ordered multiple times, all very good. As a New Yorker, Enzo's reminds me of 'home', a real local pizzeria and restaurant. They make a real NY style 18" large pie (not sure how a 16" pie elsewhere is considered a 'large'?), very good. Plain, meatball/ricotta, pepperoni, all very good. We had their heroes: meatball parm, tuna, eggplant/chicken parm, cheese steak, all really good. And their heroes are made fresh and generous - 18", stuffed and priced well. Sausage, pepper and onion calzone, also very good, took up the whole box! And their pasta e fagioli soup is also very good. Reminds me of how my mother in law made it with mixed broken pieces of linguine. The 3 or 4 times we ordered for lunch and dinner just this past week, the food arrived within 30 minutes, piping hot. For my daughter, and now us, this is now our favorite go-to after 2 years of trying other pizzeria's, thanks to a friend who told us about it! Sorry, no photos! read more

My grandma lives right down the road so this is our go to pizza place when we want pizza, they seriously load up the pizza with tons of toppings! I always also get the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. Pizza with a side of covid? This is your spot. They have great food and friendly staff but I've stopped going there lately as their employees don't wear masks. Well they have masks, but they are around their necks and not covering their mouths or noses. Most of the employees are young high school or college kids which is great. I'm all about having young adults work and I respect them taking on responsibility and earning their own money. But these are the same young adults that are going to the same schools that are being switched to remote learning due to covid outbreaks in their schools. Even after an Enzo employee (at least one) contracted covid and they closed the pizzeria for a couple days for cleaning, the employees are STILL NOT wearing masks. Like I said, great food and friendly staff...but won't chance covid for for the food. Eat there at your own risk. read more

The flavor was good, not too salty, but one piece of the veal was a little thick and therefore a little chewy. The fried calamari was good with a little spice from the cherry peppers. Recently I decided to throw a last minute Halloween get together. I called Enzo's the day before Halloween and the owner was so nice and was able to accommodate me. I asked for a time and even mentioned that it doesn't have to be exact, it's last minute and I understand they get busy. Well let me tell you next day they delivered my food on time, on the dot!! The penne vodka from them is so great. The pasta is cooked just right and the sauce is super rich and creamy. The chicken parm is excellent, it was juicy and full of flavor not blan like most places. Heard a lot about this restaurant being the best pizza joint in Jackson. If it is, then this place is seriously deprived. I like the place as a spot. Friendly people and apparently in business for 35 years plus. So there must be a sufficiently large group of supporters. I'm just not going to be one of them. To be honest, I can only talk about their pizza but since I believe that is more than likely the reason why you'll consider this establishment, I think my review is relevant. My children liked their pizza but they do not really have discerning pallets.... It does mean that they do not skimp on the toppings or cheese, which is true. Unfortunately this is about where the positives end. The crust is a good consistency and thickness but extremely bland. If I had to guess, their dough is a basic blend of flour, water and yeast and while some may like the "authenticity" of this, I do not think that we should have to gnaw on a tasteless piece of crust when it is so easy to add a little flavor with at least some salt and sugar added to the mix. I also did not like the sauce. It was a little sour for my taste and I did not get any real FLAVOR at all. No oregano, basil or garlic anywhere. Again, I'd say the sauce could be classified as basic (authentic?) - tomato paste, salt and water. I know it is very hip to do food basic and "pure" but I'm just not cool enough for flavorless food. If you're going to ingest the calories from a pizza, it might as well be a flavorful and satisfying experience. This pizza is only just "not bad" and at $35 for 2 pies (a pepperoni and a"meats") it is not cheap. I probably won't be spending my pizza money here in the future.... read more
