I did a little research and I was delighted to see a good rating on Angie's List for this company so I gave them a call. A few days later Todd came out to survey the house and I decided to Royal Touch a try! We started with a deep cleaning the first week in February and I was told that they may send three cleaners for the deep cleaning. They sent two cleaners and Todd came back for about 20 minutes to clean the glass in the tables and vacuum the living room. Although the original two cleaners were here for several hours they didn't have enough time before the next appointment to properly clean the kitchen (which was a main concern) so we discussed giving it some TLC the following week. There was a shift in the company personnel so the next visit they sent only one cleaner. Although she was nice she was a little slow! I told her to concentrate on cleaning the bathrooms and vacuuming the floors so she could work on the kitchen this time around. Well due to my time constraints I found myself on a stool cleaning cabinet facings as she did the counters. As we were cleaning her boss Heather called and was annoyed that she was still here three hours later, and began speaking rather loudly and yes I heard every word she said! She told the cleaner to finish up but not before saying "if she wants you there longer she needs to pay more!" FYI Heather never called me concerning this matter but a few days later I received a call from Todd asking if we could talk. I was unavailable on the day he suggested but I told him Monday would work for me. We set an appointment for Monday but Monday never came! This Chem Dry branch is family owned, and everyone in the family is part of the business. They are all EXTREMELY knowledgeable about their services and what they do. This has always impressed me! The Chem Dry process is different from other carpet cleaning services. I did my research on multiple types of carpet cleaning. They use oxygen to remove stains and dirt. The process is more green and more effective! They came out today because I had an emergency (large) red wine spill on my wool rug!
