    The technician mocked my cancer patient father, refused to wear a mask, then gaslit me. Below is the equally callous exchange with the company. Shameful. I received a lash tint and lift with Ondria at 11:30 am and wanted to share my experience with you and reach some kind of resolution. I arrived for my appointment in a mask and as she began the treatment, I explained that I was staying with my father who had cancer and was being very Covid cautious. She laughed and said "it's so funny - people with cancer who are cautious and who aren't." I was alarmed at such a callous response, one tinged, even, with ridicule. I asked if there were masks available she could wear. She said no. I told her I had a fresh, plastic wrapped mask with me, but she refused that too. "You're fine," she told me. I repeated my concerns and she said "I'm not sick." I told her asymptomatic people are responsible for most Covid transmissions. She told me, again, "you're fine." I was not fine, nor was I prepared to have to spontaneously defend myself, my health, and my boundaries. She should have either accommodated my request or rebooked me with someone who would, instead of compromising my safety and then gaslighting me. At the end of the treatment, she followed me to the counter and watched as I paid, and I felt, despite my deep discomfort, obligated to tell her it was great and to tip her. Add to this the fact that the results of the lift and tint are underwhelming at best, I'm shocked and disappointed by every aspect of this encounter. Before sharing this experience beyond this email, I wanted to give you the opportunity to clarify if this was an anomaly, or is in fact demonstrative of the ethos of your company, and to ask you to make this right. If this is behavior you stand by, I think people should know that they are walking into a space where their needs and safety are not a priority (and even mocked). I'd like a full refund. Ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients has always been a top priority for us, especially given the challenging circumstances brought about by the pandemic that has reshaped our lives. As we work towards rebuilding after such a scary time, we take the guidelines provided by the CDC very seriously, particularly those concerning mask protocols. We'll be sure to have a conversation with our staff about the importance of effectively communicating with clients regarding their personal safety preferences. Given that the mask protocol has changed according to the CDC, we welcome clients to share what will make them comfortable during their visit. Additionally, we regret any issues you encountered with your lashes and wish you had brought them to our attention sooner. It's worth noting that the owner was actually present with her door open when you completed the service. Upon finishing, she overheard you expressing satisfaction with a "wow!" While we cannot offer a full refund since the service was completed and you expressed satisfaction immediately afterward, We can, however, refund the tip as we understand that you weren't fully satisfied with the service and felt there was a misalignment regarding mask guidance. Could you please provide a photo of your lashes so that we can assess how we might have better met your expectations? Even if this had been the most exquisite lash lift of my life, I still would have felt unsafe, unheard, and mistreated. Your employee mocked a cancer patient and disregarded his daughter's concerns for her and his health. Nowhere in your response do you address this behavior directly. You say you invite clients to communicate their safety preferences, but what happens after they communicate them? You ignore, gaslight, and disrespect them? Your deflection and your snide tone regarding my response in the office lacks the compassion and concern I would have expected from my grievance, but remains in line with and corroborates my initial experience in your salon. I'd like that refund. Alice I just received the refund for only the tip. 44 dollars as an attempt to compensate for ridiculing a cancer patient and jeopardizing the safety of a client is laughable. It's very clear by these interactions and your "solution" that you don't actually care about the wellbeing of your clients. I hope no one else is put in the position I was. Shame on you.     Hard glue at base of lash line. It looked like Sand in my eyes

    Do NOT come here. I've been getting lash extensions here for 3 years and it's gone completely downhill (see nine last 1 star reviews). My natural lashes are coming out in clumps (see picture) and I am missing half of my natural eyelashes which is NOT normal. Jill was my technician and she did not glue one extension per lash and, instead, glued clumps of fake lashes with my real ones - and now I'm bald. I emailed them (panicked) and they claimed it was my "aftercare" -- but that's wrong bc I wash my lashes with baby shampoo and qtips 2x's a day and have been getting lash extensions every 2 months regularly for over 10 years and have NEVER had this issue. There were clumps of hard glue on my lash line and when I closed my eyes it stung. This was not normal. I also HATE that they wanted to blame me for THEIR CLEAR MISTAKE and wouldn't back down. Please don't go here. It's the worst. Their response to my concern did me over the edge. Save yourself - there are better places that are half the price. It's absurd. RESPONSE TO THE BELOW REPLY FROM THE BUSINESS OWNER: As I mentioned in my initial email to you, I told you that I was sailing in a remote region in Turkey for two weeks and had zero reception -- and frankly, I don't want to waste my vacation discussing this with you. Maybe if you spent more time taking accountability rather than blaming your long time customers -- you'd have better reviews (the last NINE reviews were 1 star, can you explain that?). Also - in your response to my initial email, you told me to wash it with baby soap -- I already do that every morning/night since I had my lashes done. Now that aftercare is ruled out -- wouldn't you agree it's your fault? I already did the maximum to ensure the proper aftercare and yet, still stuck with clumpy, crappy eyelashes that hurt and are ripping out my natural lashes. I have no lashes on my left eye. I've been doing this for 10+ years. I know what I'm doing. You clearly do not. It's time to take accountability. Your move.

She assessed my lash type and eye shape and told me that it's just a matter of where she placed the rod. My lashes turned out super lifted and lovely. She had a timer for each solution and it was all very matter of fact and systematic - perfect. For first time clients they discount the lash lift from 90 to 80 and give a castor oil lash solution. They said keep lashes dry for 4 hours (one day is for old solutions I guess) and no mascara for one day. You can pay with the card you used to book the appointment. They prefer tip in cash but will also accommodate putting on card. Overall this place was great and if I lived here I would be a regular.

I live in California so I can't get them refilled but highly recommend this place to anyone - while they've started to fall out, I can see my natural lashes and they don't look very damaged like I had feared. I took pretty good care of them and didn't rub my eyes including only splashing water on them to wash them. Also the session was only 1 hour which I heard was pretty fast compared to some other places. When you walk in and sign in, you'll tell the front desk what style you want (i.e. natural, mascara, glam, anime) and the lengths of the lashes. They will write down everything on a note, which they give to the lash artist. There's not really a consultation with the lash artist herself, since she just takes the note and starts right away. If you can, try to find an opportunity to show your artist any reference pictures to make sure you are getting the right style and lash mapping. While my extensions looked fine, they looked nothing like the reference picture I had, so I regret not confirming the style with the lash artist beforehand. The price is certainly cheaper than other places, especially if you pay in cash and with a first time discount. The whole procedure also took an hour, and they were very gentle. Overall, I wish there was more guidance for people new to lash extensions. Otherwise, great place for those who are experienced with lashes!
