We had a major flood in our house in July of this year. After the house was dried out, we looked around for general contractors to do the repair. Got a quote from one of the major brands that was very high and then we got a quote from Entrusted, who was recommended by some friends who are in the insurance business. Entrusted came out, gave us a good quote and so we chose them. They began the rebuilding of our house. Matt was assigned as the overseer of the project and Sergio the main man at the house. I've never seen a contractor work so hard or diligently. The team was respectful, clean and a pleasure to deal with. Our house was pretty big mess and by the time they were finished, I don't think we could've been happier. Entrusted really earned their name with the work they did on our home. Our plumber Cody from All Star Pluming recommended them to us. We noticed a leak in our house and needed help drying it out. Before the plumber left, Entrusted was already on the phone sending someone out. Within an hour our Damage Consultant Trevor had come by. Trevor was professional and attentive, gave us all the facts upfront for costs and didn't pressure us to spend more than we we're ready to. After that they set us up with fans and a dehumidifier and came back each day to assess the progress. Thankfully it was a small leak so it dried pretty quick. I would never use Entrusted again. Everything started off okay; my home insurance company estimator came out and suggested Entrusted even though the insurance company recommended another company for water mitigation. I would use a water mitigation company that your insurance company is accustomed to dealing with. Entrusted came and setup floor dehumidifiers, which I knew would not dry up the floor - they were just going thru the motions. Entrusted had all these multiple forms that they wanted me sign. No. Folks, you know that you're not obligated to sign their forms. Don't do it. Be smart. After they removed the fans, I felt highly pressured to hire them to do more work. Their guy literally stood in my house and looked at me as if I had to work with them. Very odd and creepy. read more

Entrusted was really great- we had a backup that caused damage in our home. Entrusted was on the scene within hours of the incident- handled drying out, and getting everything prepped. They also guided us through the whole process- setting expectations at every point. They also helped with reconstruction and just finalized everything. Harry was our project manager and he was absolutely fantastic- he came by in person multiple times to ensure that everything was being done right. The reconstruction process happened much more quickly than expected and we would absolutely recommend them to others. Sucked completely except for immediate response. The rest was dragged out and we were left with delayed work, probably due to insurance...but the quality of work was so crappy. Bumpy painting repair, uneven coats. Overall rating: would not recommend. Do your homework. Get an independent adjuster. READ the other reviews. They don't lie. You can manipulate google reviews but not yelp. The only thing that they did that was fantastic was they came out immediately. They stated that we had a leak that was Class 3 and we needed to cut out all the drywall. Well, that wasn't correct. The contractor that came out on their behalf to cut it out was like, what are we doing cutting all this out. There is no class 3 leak. So we called them back and they said that they didn't need to cut it out. Also, did not do as they stated and did not put a dehumidifier in the bathroom until they were coming to pickup all their equipment. Would not recommend. They broke our stuff, and improperly put down the floor . One year later the floor is broken and coming up . After inspection we found out that entrusted did not put an important layer down and this is why the floor is coming up. If anyone suggests using this company, turn the other way and run. They want your insurance check, plain and simple. Nobody there cares about your concerns or what's happening in your home, or what you feel is damaged beyond what they think. It's all on their time table because that's the way it's done. I don't want to work with any company that thinks my house can wait for their decision to further check on water damage. AND when we fired them they charged me a 10% cancellation fee on top of the poor investigative work they performed. In the end, I was correct, there was more damage. Not any more. I used this company years ago for a pipe leak, because they were recommended by my plumber. They did a fabulous job and were in my corner the whole time through the year long struggle with my insurance company. Hence the three stars - past performance Well, I go more water damage from storm ETA. I called Entrusted and my insurance company, only to find out that they work together now...first warning flag. I still needed the water gone from my house, so had an Entrusted associate come by. He told use that the damage would not be covered by insurance, we would be on our own, used a lot of trade jargon and just did not seem on our side. My wife and I spoke to the associate separately and had the same bad feeling. We passed on their services this time and will look for a different company in the future. They wanted us to commit to reconstruction by signing a contract, without providing any information. I asked if we could sign a preliminary stage contract, and get an estimate, and evidently that isn't possible. He kept telling us that this is what their lawyers drew up to protect them - well no kidding. I am a lawyer, and can't imagine anyone signing an open-ended commitment to use the company 's services without having any idea what the 'addendum' scope of work and price will be, and virtually no information about the steps. There are also other issues with the contract, that are troublesome. I signed for emergency services only, but refused to sign for reconstruction - so glad we did that.. All they did was send out two dehumidifiers - which they kept here several days. Yesterday they removed them and of course our bamboo floor is still wet. Today I got to talk to someone else at Entrusted. He wouldn't tell us the cost of these "emergency services" that they billed to our insurance. His comment to me is "Why do you need to know - insurance will pay it." That was the last straw. I won't be using this contractor. As a lawyer who deals with contracts, I could see enough holes in this one to get stuck in a huge, costly mess with no recourse. We don't even have an insurance commitment (yet) that they will cover the reconstruction. I talked to two other contractors today, and both said the same thing about what should have been done as emergency services which was not what Entrusted did. One was particularly helpful, and informative - we will probably go with them. They have been in business longer, and have better reviews. read more

Had Service Experts put in a AC. Leaked through the AC vent. Bottom bathroom in my townhouse. No joke. Ruined my expensive wallpaper on the ceiling. Short story I was told by Service Experts they were handling the repair and not to do anything else. After weeks got a call the night before that the cost is $1200 $600 my responsibility. This is for Service Experts error. Entrusted is a company that prays on the misfortune of others. Not to mention Service Experts. Ridiculous my bathroom consists of a toilet and sink. I also took down almost 100% of the wallpaper. $1200 is ludicrous. read more

Office staff was great! Estimator was great. When it came for the reconstruction of my kitchen work was poorly done. For the reconstruction I would give zero stars. Very unhappy with the quality of work. They left damage which they claimed that was there before they did work which was untrue. If there is a next time I would go with another company. read more

They refused to tell us whether their service guy was COVID-vaccinated, because "that's a private matter and not our business". Well, it's my business, so we canceled the appt. and got a company that actually will disclose to the customer on an upfront basis, whether they're sending someone to my home, who could jeopardize our lives. If I could give zero stars I would. They did remediation on our home after the freeze and literally tore out our toe kick and left fans and a dehumidifier and charged us $6400. They also damaged all of our floor cabinets when they tore out the toe kick. When we asked for an itemized receipt to see what the charges were they said they would email us a document so we could provide that to our insurance carrier. Well they never sent it, never returned my phone calls or our insurance carriers' calls. The team they sent in were inexperienced, making phone calls to ask simple questions the entire time they were here. Do not trust this company. Very unprofessional and not transparent at all. We agreed to hire Entrusted as a preferred contractor from my father-in-law's insurance company. I felt optimistic about them given the number of very positive reviews an the fact that it was fairly small job. Unfortunately, our experience was very uneven. In general, there just seemed to be a lack of adequate supervision and/or communication between the project manager and the various crews that came to do the work. For example: the painters literally bought the wrong color and painted an entire master bedroom before the mistake was discovered. Thankfully, it was arranged to have the work re-done with the correct color...but that involved an extra day. About three lineal feet of bathroom baseboard tile that had to be removed to tear out wet drywall was supposed to be saved so that we'd still have matching tile. But the tile was discarded. Since it was unreasonable to expect Entrusted to re-tile the entire bathroom, we agree to have them replace ALL the baseboard tile, which now does not match. The bathroom vanity, was water damaged had to be replaced. After the replacement vanity was installed, we were lucky enough to remind the crew to remove the old drawer handles on the damaged vanity before they discarded it. The carpet replacement order was short, so we had to wait another day to have additional carpet arrive and installed. Just too many items that were missed. Fortunately, the project manager was very willing to correct all the mistakes, but it did add extra time and stress to the project, especially considering my father-in-law had to move out of the condo while the work was being done. Even given the extra challenges of COVID, there were just too many mistakes made. Like any contractor you hire in Florida, you have to be willing to stay involved with the project and pay close attention to the work as it's being done. read more

I didn't realize how shoddy their work was until I had to re-caulk the shower they installed. The installation was extremely uneven, with a gap almost an inch wide between side panel and tub. This is way too big to caulk, but it didn't stop them. They poured in gobs of caulk, which predictably developed gaps and now I've been spending hours cleaning it out. I have no idea what I can use to bridge the gap between the tub and side panels because caulk obviously can't handle an opening that wide. read more

I had a leak in my 1st floor ceiling. After repairing the leak, Entrusted came out and started the dry out. After they were done, things were dry and I had some drywall that needed repair. They are very sweet and charming at the beginning. They were referred by my insurance company to handle water damage from a toilet leak. Once you sign up with them, they are very pushy. Things start to change. Then after a couple of months of them finishing the work, I had sewer water coming up from my floor. It was from the work they did. They refused to fix the problem. Their suggestion was to make a new insurance claim. In my world, you should stand by your work. They should just come in and make me whole and stand by what they did. It was refused at every level of the company. So now I have to pay to correct their mistakes. Stay as far away from these scam artists as possible!!!!! read more

This company was recommended by the plumbing company. We had a interior pipe leak in the kitchen behind the cabinet under the sink. The plumber stated we had to have the entire kitchen cabinets pulled out and replaced. We also had to remove drywall in the dining room. The water dryers they placed never worked. I had to mop up the floors all night long and day for 3 days because the dryers put the water back out onto the floor. The charged over $5000.00 for the insurance to pay. I did all the work. They kept bringing broken dryers everytime. The kitchen project was a disaster! After the cabinets were pulled out we didn't have running water from 4/2019 until 9/2019. A 94 year old person living hear had to wash dishes in the bathtub all that time. It took 10 weeks to get the cabinets. They are smaller than the originals. The drawers are too short to use in a normal fashion. We have to use another form of cabinets to put back the items we originally had in them. While the cabinets were out, the wall was exposed completely and they left the old backsplash up and of course it doesn't match and is crooked now. 1/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch around the walls. The was no backsplash put up so there is a 1/2 inch gap between the wall and the marble countertop for water to leak down. There was no sealer placed around the sink and it is rusted all the way around the top edge already. They did not replace the tile around the bottom of the cabinets like before it had matching tile for the floor to protect from water. It has pressed wood now. We have to pay someone to come out and replace the sink and tile the backsplash and seal up the countertops because they refused to do it. The painter was self employed and thus tore out all the drywall, reinstalled it without any insulation, but said they did, so the pulled it off again and put a sheet of stryo-foam in it and sealed it back up but only in the dining room not the kitchen. In the garage where the water got into they replaced some drywall, not all of it and they had another water leak due to cutting a pipe accidentally. The plumber had to repair. 2 days of leaking water they did not dry it out they covered it up and painted over it. It took 3 times to get the painter to paint the wall in the garage he kept stating he did. Cameras don't lie. I asked them to send out a company better qualified for the job but they said no. We had to work with this one. No insulation put in the garage either. Overall the experience was time consuming, traumatic and costly for the insurance company and us. They got around $33,000 for the job. We are going to be paying about $8,000 to finish and repair what they did. That is if there is no more damage from what can be seen right now. read more

They are very deceiving company they don't go over exactly what you're signing their way of doing that is by using a tablet they have you Sign thinking that you're just signing that the check will come in your name and the companies name they don't bother to show you page two where you're actually signing a contract. Then when you decide you're not going to use their services they pop you for 20% of the estimate. Along with charging astronomical fees for a dry out nine hours of dry time over $3000 I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy they are just out to get money out of the insurance companies. A whole lot of promises with very little delivery. I was promised they would manage the claim, remove the water and handle the insurance. They hyped up all my damage to me, never contacted me or the insurance company after the claim was denied, charged me $700 and left water in my floor. When I tried to sell the house the inspector said their was water in my floor and they wanted a record of the remediation. I called entrusted and they said the technician was out, the iPad broke and than finally sent me some no nothing document that the inspector refused. Than I find out my insurance broker got a kick back for referring this outfit to me. Worst experience possible. I will say the actual technician was super nice. But the sales reps and the management team wrote the book on over promise under deliver. They sent some clown sales rep out to try to sell me on a mold remediation . This moron shows up in a Q50 Infiniti and pokes around for one second and says yup you've got mold. Btw the water leak was under the house and he never went under. Typically I expect a mold expert to show up in a Q50 with so much hair gel you could mold a statue and then walk around and declare mold at random. After I politely tell him no he walks out back and talks to the other moron about how I overspent on my grill and I was ripped off. And than how much he parities. This was like the clown show 101. 10 years in Sales and I have never met such moron sales reps. I had to politely ask him to get out as I didn't need a group of jersey shore fist pumpers to show up and begin doing shots with him.
