My wife and I enjoyed the class and sophistication of Entrada in Derry. Between its hip interior design of its second-floor dining area and excellent cuisine options, this Spanish-influenced restaurant has everything you could want (especially if you need gluten-free options).
The restaurant is in this stone-built building with an old-school spiral staircase that spirals up to multiple floors. If I recall, there's also a private room for special events and trivia on the first floor. When we arrived at the second floor, there was purple lighting before the set of double doors that led you into the dining area. Upon entering, the sophisticated design of the dining room comprised oval chairs and tables with some booth seating to the left with a stylish bar and lounge to the right.
Grabbing a table with our reservation (recommended), we started with cocktails, such as the Sour and Bramble -- very tasty and refreshing that brought us to a place of spiritual oneness and understanding for the mixology universe. We enjoyed some lovely charcuterie comprising Iberico Serrano ham and some distinctive cheeses that I can't find back here in the states. My wife enjoyed the sea bass while I dined on the rotisserie half chicken potato and manchego terrine, BBQ cabbage, and green peppercorn au jus. I also went for the indulgence and ordered some aioli fries and new boiled potatoes.
When the time arrives to return to Derry, we will return to Entrada. This magical place will satisfy the senses into a place of spiritual serenity and superbness. read more
