Although I didn't get PPF, on one of my visits I saw the work they did for a full PPF on a diamond black model Y that looked deeper and shinier than just stock paint.. WOW. Had me wishing I got a black car and wondering if getting PPF on my silver might make it pop more. Eric, the owner, is straightforward, practical and easy to do business with. Above all, he is clearly a car enthusiast that does all this for his love of cars...so the business is totally true to its name! At other tint shops I've been to, even good ones, I can't help but get this feeling of being just another customer because they set themselves up more for volume. I brought my Model Y Juniper in for window tint and a full-body ceramic coating (XPEL Fusion Plus) and left disappointed with both the service and the communication. Tint was good -- I would say what you would expect for the price. My bigger concern was with the ceramic coating. When I picked up my car, I noticed the same paint swirls and marks that were present before drop-off. When I followed up, I was told that paint correction is a separate service and was not included. I understand that distinction now, but at no point -- not during our Yelp messaging, not during drop-off, not during any part of the process -- was I informed that the ceramic coating would be applied over uncorrected paint. As someone who reasonably assumed that surface prep and paint correction went hand-in-hand with a $650 ceramic coating, I would have expected that to be communicated upfront. The in-person interaction at drop-off was also minimal. Very little information was exchanged about what the process would entail or what to expect, which made the surprise afterward even more frustrating. With all the amazing reviews, I thought my vehicle was going to get well taken care of. To make matters worse, I noticed new scratches on the rear plastic trim and in the foot wells that were not present before I dropped the car off. The shop did offer a $150 discount toward a future paint correction service, which I appreciate, but at that point I had already lost confidence in continuing. Ultimately, I paid $650 for a ceramic coating applied over paint that wasn't properly corrected, received no proactive communication about what was or wasn't included, and got my car back with new damage. The tint work was fine, and Eric was responsive over messaging. But the lack of transparency around the scope of work and the condition of the car at pickup make it hard for me to recommend this shop. And trust me, I never write reviews nor do I want to talk badly about a company. I was just really disappointed at the fact that my brand new car was not taken care of. Really unfortunate. Response to business owner: I stand by every point I made. I understand that paint correction may be a separate service in your offerings, but my concern is not about what was listed -- it's about what was never communicated. At no point during our messaging, at drop-off, or at any stage of the process (until day of pick-up) was I informed that the ceramic coating would be applied over uncorrected paint. For a $650 service, I believe that distinction deserves to be clearly disclosed upfront, not after the fact. Honestly, look no further if you're looking to tint your car. I reached out for a tint quote at 1AM Sat night and received a prompt response -- didn't even realize it was a real person at first. Eric, the owner, was incredibly responsive and helpful. He was so patient walking me through all the tint options and provided me suggestions as well! I had an appointment scheduled by 1AM, was in by 9:30AM on Monday and out by 12PM despite him saying he would need until 3PM (SUCH AN AWESOME TURNAROUND TIME). I went to official Tesla site to purchase the XPEL window tint, and it redirects to XPEL official site, and that site listed this shop as the closest one to my home. I noticed it had just a few reviews on Yelp, maybe a dozen on Google reviews. But I gave it try anyway. I reached out to the shop to clarify that do I really just pay through the XPEL official site and I'm done paying? They responded promptly that it's indeed the case, and once I paid they just started scheduling time with me. They have been pretty flexible in scheduling. No frustration. They are in a location where a number of other car shops are there. Also super near to Freeway 17 so that's a plus. Finding a spot to drop off the car is easy. The staff came out to greet me when I arrived, and asked the tint level I wanted, and walked me through some basics. He did ask if I want to do more window, but just a short ask and not anything pushy or hard-selling. I declined and just dropped the key to him and left. Same day after a few hours I came back and the car was ready for pick up! Pretty decently done. The edges were nice and uniform. Alignment is good. No air bubbles. Also saw a number of other vehicles they're working on. They installed some warning stickers on the window buttons to warn me not to roll it down for a few days for the film to cure - which is something I wasn't aware. So that's a nice touch. At the end they gave me a few more windows of free tint, which I welcome! Not sure if that's by chance or they do this to everyone. They didn't really nag me for paying extra at all after the fact. I just drove the thing home! I know they're a little new (maybe open for a few months?) so I was a little skeptical at first. But I gave them a try regardless. And it wasn't disappointing at all!
