this specific location was perfect until there was continuous Issues with customer service and now attempting fraud thru my credit card. Was told a price over the phone and I authorized that specific amount to be charged as well as held as deposit. When I returned the rental it was a an extra 200$ ok the total compared to what I was told over the phone on the extra week extent. the female manager gave me the worse attitude while delivering terrible customer service as well. abs power tripped and basical was saying sorry there's nothing that can be done and then as I continu to explain more of the situation and how it's not what I ever authorized they offered a free single day credit. I am 45+ years so renting cars while traveling out of state x 20+ years. HANDS DOWN THE WORST EXPERIENCE RENTING CAR IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I reserved car online with sky harbor drop off following day. Had proof of departing flight from sky harbor. Representatives refused to use debit card and also refused to split deposit and reservation between to forms of payment. At first they claimed it was because my pickup location wasn't "on airport". While I was sitting calling my banks hoping one would clear same day transfer to external account of different financial institution, I witness them rent to someone else using debit card. When I asked again to use debit they said it was because I was out of state. Eventually I left without renting car. I was able to aquire a free 10-Day Rental thru the dealership my car is getting service at. I found the place clean and the staff that helped me friendly and professional. I had all of my many questions answered and received speedy and efficient service. I was even emailed additional information on some other services they provided. The local Yuma branch has courtesy pickup and drop off. And, if I had the local phone number when I rented, I could have saved a day's rental. So, because of corporate, it cost me an extra day. Alberto Fraijo, Branch Manger, at the 2760 S. 4th Avenue, Yuma, AZ, 85364 and the entire branch staff were outstanding professionals and human beings. On August 12th, my wife and I were traveling from Orange County, California, to Tucson, Arizona, in our minivan, transporting a van full of college needs for our UofA daughter. After a sudden rainstorm, we were rear-ended, and our van was totaled in Yuma. Arizona State Troopers followed us to the nearby Enterprise, where Alberto and his teammates not only comforted us, but calmed us down, transported our salvageable goods into the new rental vehicle, which was awesome. He could not have been more helpful, provided us cold water to drink, and got us going safely to Tucson where we could deliver these college goods to our (very worried) daughter in Tucson. Enterprise will be our go-to choice now when we rent, largely due the way Alberto and his crew handled everything especially during our difficult time! Thank you Alberto!!! read more

We had to wait 2 hours from the time we walked in, till we've got the car. Their excuse? The insurance company didn't give them a heads up. They also failed to pick us up from body shop (gave an estimate on time that was over 40 minutes off). Waiting area where we had to spend 2 hours did not have a restroom. I have avoided the female manager at this location because the last time I rented from here she had an attitude problem ( she has a very nasty attitude when speaking to people) and absolutely no customer service skills at all Today I was forced to deal with her because accoring to her teh Manager was at lunch and If I want to speak with him she said " you can just wait". . RENTERS BEWARE! INSPECT EVERY NOOK & CRANNY OF THE RENTAL BEFORE LEAVING THE PARKING LOT!! I've rented many vehicles from enterprise over the past two years and never had a problem until careless staff either advertantly or inadvertently gave me a damaged vehicle and i was held responsible. I talked to various personnel: from store manager to area manager and the risk management manager. The higher up I reached, the worse the customer service got. Risk manager told basically told me that the more vehicles i rented from Enterprise, the more likely i would end up crashing...um I think NOT! I have a had a clean driving records since i was 16!! I paid them my deductible, gave them my insurance information, keep in constant communication with them, yet they send me letters threatening me to take further action. I wish i could upload photos of the alleged damage i caused while the vehicle remained parked in a private garage!!! I said it again and I will say it again, I am 100% sure, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the damage did not occur while the vehicle in my possession. This issue has been ongoing since August 2016 and has yet to be resolved...smh! They just cant seem to get their act together. Furthermore, in the last conversation i had with the area manager i mentioned to him that since I was being held responsible and forced to pay over $1000 for damages I did not cause nor did they occur while I had the vehicle in my possession, I wanted everyone to know about this very unfortunate situation. My work requires a lot of travel so i returned to enterprise on Jan 9 2017. I was given the wrong size vehicle so i called before returning. The lady i spoke with said i had to wait and I told her i could not because I was already behind schedule since i waited for 30 min for the first vehicle. When i returned, the same associate who screwed me over the first time, gave me keys to a replacement vehicle and let me walk out the door without a walk through inspection. HOWEVER, I knew better from the above experience. I had to walk back into the store and ask an associate to come out and look at some deep scratches on the dumper, roughly a bout 9-10 inches in length. All he did as take a picture of them but never updated my rental agreement to notate the damage. I am glad I took a my own pictures. Although, i am not sure how well my own pictures would have helped if they decided to charge me for that based on my previous experience. I've used them many times and they are always fast and friendly. Unfortunately there are some occasions where even after making reservations months in advance to pick up at the time they open and arriving before as to be the first one they still don't offer you the choice to pick your car from the tier you select (full-size). Their excuse is that's all we have... Really cause I see like 8 other full size and I'm sure they are in reserved to be rented but I been first should be able to pick first. A specific car make and model are not assigned when you reserve you just pick a class. So this is disappointing. read more

We had a confirmation number for a mini van or full size SUV and when we arrived they stated that they called us "several" times to state that they didn't have any vehicles that matched. I find it disturbing that Yelp hides the negative reviews, but I'm writing this one anyway in the hopes of getting the word out about a very negative experience at Enterprise in Yuma. My son, who is WELL past 25 years of age, but does not have a credit card (they were using a debit card), went to rent a car and was asked to bring proof of insurance, a utility bill, and a copy of his last paystub, and not in a very friendly manner to begin with (I was present). When he went back the next day with all of the required material, they refused to rent a car to him without him purchasing the supplemental insurance, which doubled the rate of the car rental. They are incredibly rude in that office, and don't seem to really care whether they rent a car to you or not. They lost two customers, and hopefully a whole lot more who will hear about this. Called a week in advance to reserve a vehicle. Went in to speak with a rental agent about their available vehicles. He set us up for 10am. Told us what we needed to bring in. They called the night before to ensure we were coming in. Got there at 10am. I made arrangements with another party to meet them in Tucson based on the reservation. Got there, brought in paystubs, utility bill, car insurance, etc. First she said we could not do it because we didn't have a major credit card. We were already told the bank card we had was fine. She let that one go. Then she took our utility bill and took it out of the envelope and said she needed to see a receipt that it has been paid. First of all I pay online and don't carry receipts around with me. The leasing agent said we just needed to bring something with our mailing address like a utility bill, not about how or when I pay my bill. I am more angry that I have had to cancel my meeting. We are both 60yrs and have rented from enterprise for over 20yrs, my husband makes $1K weekly and we have never damaged their vehicles. I have rented trucks and vans before and up until this time I have never had a complaint. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS BEHAVIOR AND not to CUSTOMER FRIENDLY TO TREAT A LOYAL CUSTOMER IN SUCH A HUMILIATING MANNER, especially in front of other customers. We did our part, they dropped the ball on theirs. I get that Im a drop in the bucket to them, however, people should get to hear how they treat loyal customers even though they don't care. Find some more professional employees also, not rude as crap! They say Meet our People: "Every day at Enterprise Rent-A-Car is different. We care about what our customers think and how they feel."
