I hate to even give this a one star My rental car that was picked up from Fl. broke down on 95N in Wilson, NC I called to get a car after that had the other one towed and they kept telling me they didn't have any cars but I could come and sit in the waiting area just in case mind you this is 9 am on Sat and they close at noon and don't reopen until Monday. I asked if there was anything I could do any other options I just got ma'am over and over sorry not sorry attitude. After calling the branch I got the rental from he rented me a new car at the airport which I needed to pay for an Uber to the airport since I now have no car. Wilson branch may not have had cars but the lack of problem solving and the inability to suggest the airport or any other location is pathetic at best. All the other branches were helpful. Not once did I hear I am sorry our car broke down on you, what can we do to make this right I received a, " sorry ma'am there is nothing we can do for you but you can come sit here for 4 hours when we know we won't have a car for you. I always use enterprise when I travel and because of this branch I really don't care to ever use them again. Good Luck as a customer. read more

Do not recommend. Made a reservation and was promised a 6 seater car. On the day of, we were told they didn't have the car we reserved. VERY disappointed with the place because we NEEDED that 6 seater and weren't able to go anywhere else to get it at the moment so we were left with no choice. read more

I was on a roadtrip and my car needed to be serviced on our way back home. We had to rent a car last minute and when I came to Enterprise, i was helped out by 3 gentlemen that made renting a one-way car very easy even after their system wasn't helping them. I would highly this location for renting a car as the gentlemen very helpful. 10/10 read more

This was the first time something like this happened and I'm in the car, so heading to get a rental car which I had already had a appointment to pick up a SUV, and end up not getting but that was fine. So end up getting a sedan, 30 minutes later driving down the road tire blew, so I called the enterprise to get a replacement car, but there was no cars available, so they offered to fix it my getting a new tire and yes we had the spare up there and also I didn't put the spare on, the insurance took care of that so they call road side assistance. Tell me why when we got to fire stone, and the man look at the tire and he said "i can put a tire up there but you'll end up with the same problem" and of course the rim was cracked and it had white marks where the crack was, so it's been leaking and it's already been to the a tire place to replace the tire. And the dash inside the car didn't show any notifications that it was something wrong with the tire. read more

I missed 3 hours of work just for them to tell me that the car I was getting was getting an oil change and that they had another car for me to get since it was taking a long time, I agreed on the new car and then their system goes down, then I was told that they would just bring the car to me later on since I had to be back to work we agreed on that another 6 or 7 hours go by someone finally brings the car to me just for the guy to say I wasn't old enough to get the car as I am 23 and you need to be 25 for a luxury car so missed out on the 2nd car and the 1st car because by that time they had already given it to someone else. It is crazy how even the manager of this enterprise does not know his own job and what questions he is suppose to ask to avoid certain outcomes. I certainly know that not all enterprise locations are as careless and unorganized as this one but the age policy needs to change specially if the insurance is the one paying like their should be some type of waiver for a 25 and under to get a certain type of vehicle if they are willing to put down a major credit card as I was. read more

Got my reservation booked up 3 days in advance. My pick up was at 9:30am. Nobody came to get me until 11am. When I got to the shop and processed all the paperwork it took them another 65 minutes to get my rental car ready. Ridiculous. You need to take half day off work to get rental from here. read more

I was stranded in Wilson, NC on 15 Dec after my car broke down. I reserved a car through the Enterprise app and was told the vehicle I wanted was available. The next day (Saturday), I showed up at Enterprise promptly at 0900, only to discover there were no cars available--and was told I had to wait. Given this was not a planned event, I was expecting some difficulty getting a car. Well thanks to Tonya, the store manager, she had me ready to go in about 30 minutes--I was expecting a longer wait (if I received a car at all). I greatly appreciate the work by her and her staff to get me and my family back on the road--and turned a bad experience into a better day. I could not ask for better service. read more

I rented an automobile from Enterprise in New Hampshire and was traveling to Fla. When I went to leave N.H. early in the morning I noticed a screw in the tire, but it was to early to call Enterprise so I decided to continue on our trip.I was in N.C. when the tire sensor lite came on so I looked for an Enterprise store in Wilson N.C. and found one at 1313 Ward Blvd Wilson N.C. I stopped into the Enterprise store and said I was having a tire issue and I was traveling to Fla. and needed help and had a time issue. A very nice, polite and knowledgeable gentleman named Cameron asked his associate manager Tashia, who was also very friendly, knowledgeable and very pleasant said that they would call a tire company for me. They tried one and the company was very busy but could do it in 2 or 3 hours but Tashia and Cameron knew we were in a time crunch, so they called another tire business and they said that they were busy but if we got right over there they would take us right in and they did. We were in and out in 1/2 an hour and we were on our way. Thank You very much Tashia and Cameron you both a very outstanding people and do your Jobs very well. I picked up a car on a Wednesday at 12 and rented it for 3 days (Saturday). When I brought the vehicle back at 12 on Saturday there was no one at the store (lights off, door locked). I noticed their sign said they closed Saturdays at 12 so obviously I was too late. My fault. However, I called the home office to see what I should do. The home office was very understanding and told me to hang on to the car for the weekend and bring it back Monday when they open and just tell them what happened. When I brought the car back, I told them what happened, that I returned just after 12. The employee immediately said, "no you didn't, I was here until 2." I was speechless. Ive never seen a customer service employee get snarky like that before. I then assured what happened was true and told them about my conversation with the home office. The other employee then told me I didn't talk to the home office because they didn't make any "notes" on the computer. After I refused to change my story, because they wouldn't stick to theirs, the manager came over and offered me $50 off but still charged me the extra two days. I'll let you decide whether that was fair or not based off what happened, but I can't give more than one star due to the ridiculously bad customer service from the two employees. read more

I can't say enough good about the Wilson office and Enterprise! Though we've rented from them a few times with no issues, they went above and beyond yesterday. After being shafted by another company the night before our vacation, they went above and beyond to make sure our vacation wasnt interrupted. They were able to get us a minivan on a Friday night holiday weekend with no notice and gave us a very fair price as well. We called in a panic at 530 pm and they had us in our car by 6pm. The staff was so friendly and accommodating and we will NEVER rent from another company again. We are customers for life! read more

Make sure you ask about deposit requirements & documentation requirements when a debit card (more documentation is needed) or credit card (less documentation is needed) is used. (Examples: proof of income, proof of insurance, current {non-delinquent} utility bill, etc.) TIP: Get these documents sent in (via email/fax) ahead of time to avoid delays (ex: they have to call insurance carrier to confirm coverage - hard to do early in the morning or on weekends). Rented a car for the week and was given a fair rate and despite my reservation being for the day before I was still accommodated. Was given a ride back to my office quickly and the new emailing of receipt function makes it much easier to expense. Despite my previous grievances I believe it was a one time occurrence and i will definitely rent from this location again. read more
