I reserved on-line for one-way rental to Newark Airport. Price quoted was just over $400. When I got to the office they calmly told be there would be an additional charge because it was one way. (Whaat?) This fee virtually DOUBLED the cost!! They refused to honor their own reservation. Thankfully they did take me to the Rochester Airport where I found another rental (for $400). While I definitely appreciate their ride, they should have honored the price THEY offered. Beware!!!! read more

Terrible service with this location. Made a confirmed reservation and when I arrived the guy was so rude, vehicle not available, and his response was (as he looked out the window) "clearly website needs to be fired" to my question when I said their site had multiple vehicle options available. Enterprise has/was a solid service program for their associates so either this particular agent missed the mark or Enterprise is lacking on the service. read more

If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. They called 24 hrs ahead to confirm my reservation for the next day - great. But then an hour before I was picking up my rental, they called to inform me that they had no cars. I told them this was unacceptable and that I need a car - I had to drive 4.5 hrs to an appointment. They asked if I could 4 hours to pick up the car! No! I needed to be at my destination so that could not work for me. They didn't offer to help find me a car somewhere, they just apologized and said there was nothing they could do. This is no way to run a rental car business when people are relying on their reservation to be fulfilled. I had to rent a car from Avis at the airport which was double the price and I had to pay for airport parking to leave my own vehicle overnight. This caused me to leave almost an hour later than I had planned and I almost missed my appointment. This could've been handled much better on their end if they cared at all about customer service. And, this is not the first time that Enterprise has done this to me. read more

zero stars. it should be NEGATIVE stars. Terrible...horrible! I was involved in a car accident and needed a rental vehicle. I used Enterprise Scam-A-Car and I wish I NEVER did! At the end of my "agreement" they charged me the total balance, and took the $1,000 from my car insurance. Double dippers! I tried relentlessly to dispute the charge but Enterprise Rent-A-Scam fought back every time...stating that they had "strong" policies about charging the initial card put down for the rental. Right when I thought I was making some progress with my dispute...Enterprise completely changed the whole entire bill. First the total balance was $1,012.40...then after my many attempts to dispute and reaching out to Enterprise to get my money back...they pulled a different "total balance" out of their rearends! Fraud. Deceit. Lies. Robbery. Run far away from these big corporate THIEVES! read more

Normally I hate renting cars, as it is usually a sales pitch for insurance and trying to get you to upgrade. I booked online in advance and was met by Brody when I came in. It was an amazingly seamless, easy process and even though i was in a hurry he was very polite and got me out of there in no time. I even received a courtesy call the following day to make sure everything was ok with the car as I told him I was traveling quite far. He really made this a great experience and I will be happy to return to this location. read more

Got the car, needed it about four days, all was well. the first night it was in my driveway it was keyed on all four sides, across the whole length of the car, and on the roof. No other cars in my driveway were vandalized (there were three others), and none in my neighborhood. I had changed from their insurance to my own on the car because rentals were covered, so we believe enterprise vandalized their own car in order to take advantage of the insurance claim. it's the only plausible scenario. I have no enemies, no exes, and live in a suburb. they are an underhanded company and I will never be giving them my business again. read more

I had to get a rental through enterprise as part of an insurance claim after I was rear-ended this winter. The registration process was easy and the pickup process was quick and smooth. I would have given five stars for that. But the rental car itself is absolutely disgusting. It REEKS, nauseatingly, of old perfume and urine. I am completely at a loss as to how they could rent a car out in this condition. How do you not notice this stench? How do you assume it is ok to subject a customer to this stench? And I don't mean it just smells kind of musty in there, I mean going 65 mph down 490, with all the windows rolled down, still had me wanting to puke. I have no allergies and typically no sensitivity to odor, and I can't even imagine what this would do to someone who does have an allergy or sensitivity. I've rented from this location before with no problem. This time the manager gave me a hard sell on getting their insurance. Anyone who has ever rented a car knows that if you have your own insurance then buying their insurance is a complete ripoff. This manager got in my face and told me I really needed to get their insurance. I would avoid this location. If you do rent from Enterprise back up hard if they push hard about buying their insurance. read more

The counter staff are all very pleasant and accommodating, and the services and quality of the rental cars has been consistently good. OK.. first if I could split this review into two reviews I would. Customer support at Enterprise is always top notch. The cars.... Well they're rentals, so not so much. I sometimes travel for my company, and they get us rental cars to save beating on our personal vehicles. Enterprise is 95% of the time our first choice. I have gotten some very nice cars from them and have always enjoyed their customer service. I once had a flat in Texas, called their roadside assistance and had service very quickly. Thanks! My last rental was not as nice. The guys at the office were great, courteous, respectful and cared about how I was treated. Office was relatively clean and well kept. They told me what car they were offering me, 2016 Hyundai Accent. I immediately requested a different car. Now I know it was a last minute rental (100% my fault) but the only thing they had for another option was an SUV for $16.00 more per day. I wasn't authorized to take that vehicle so I was stuck with it. So we do a walk around. I pointed out dent, scratches, marks, chips, and all sorts of misuse to this car. I wish I had looked inside when we did the walk around, it wasn't much better. Stained seats, headliner, door panels and the carpets were trashed. This little car had been run hard and beaten severely. But it was really my only option, so I took the car. In retrospect, I should have gone back. The only good thing about this car, it was peppy for a four banger. It had very good acceleration and smooth running engine. Other wise, it was like riding in a brick. I swear I could have run over a dime and told you if it was heads or tails. The brakes we terrible, if you had to brake hard, you'd vibrate your teeth out of your head. It handled terribly with no road crown tolerance, meaning; if you were on the left lane, it would pull left, and if you were on the right lane it would pull right, and if you were in the middle, it would wander if there was any kind of road crown one way or the other. The seats, UGH! They were about as comfortable as a couple of 2x4's nailed together and an old pillow stapled to them. I'm glad the trip was less than 300 miles in total. The interior smelled... I couldn't tell you exactly what it was, but it really wasn't pleasant. Luckily when you ran the A/C it didn't smell as bad, but after sitting in the hot sun... EEWWWW! I was so frustrated with the car, I called their customer support number and voiced my concerns. They said I could drop the car off at any location and get a new one, which would not work due to my work schedule and their store hours. I dealt with it. So over all, I cannot give much more than 2 stars. Now the manager did knock the total down for me when I came back and voiced my dissatisfaction of the rental. He did apologize for the bad experience as well. I will still rent from them, as their service is top notch. I will however never get a Hyundai Accent again. read more

The people at Ridge Rd Webster were friendly and helpful no problem there. BUT I had an accident with my rental, stopped at a light and rear ended. Other drivers insurance says it accepts responsibility Filled out three accident reports , 4 other forms spoke to 3 people at DAMAGE RECOVERY UNIT (ENTERPRISE) and sent 2 emails. and a certified letter.
