Enterprise as a whole is an awesome company but the Enterprise in Vincennes they're liars and their racist they fed as a whole bunch of lies about Enterprise not picking clients up but the real reason is they came to my house to pick my wife up and realize that her husband was black and then the next time my wife tried to rent all of a sudden they don't pick nobody up then they're illegally charged us $300 because he's mad at the fact that we're in a mixed relationship they're anti that and if you want my opinion anti-American as well I would not rent from them not to mention that you won't even get the vehicle that you requested and they have no apology they just tell u to deal with it in their own words. I would rent from Enterprise again but I would avoid Vincennes, Indiana and their total rudeness and total unprofessionalism. If I could give them 0 stars I would read more

I called Enterprise, and was connected to the office in St. Louis to book my rental. They told me certain cars at a certain price level would be available to me. However, upon arrival there was only one car in that price range...a two door. The two people I was driving are old and have mobility issues. I told the gentleman helping me, and he made a joke about how they might like the hemi which I found inappropriate. He then offered me a bigger vehicle, but I would have had to pay more. Not good customer service. Also, the regional office told me I receive 5% off for being a AAA member, but that was not true. However, the Vincennes office was great to work with around this issue. Also, the same man cleaned my vehicle if that's what you could call it. The vehicle had a distinct not great smell, and there were stains in the back from what looked like someone sprayed cleaner in but didn't bother to wipe it off. The vehicle did not have the customary floor mats. Despite the flaws in communication between the St. Louis office and this office, the very capable and understanding woman that works in the office made things right with me. She continued to offer upstanding customer service and was very patient with my issues. My satisfaction was her top priority! If you deal with anyone, deal with her because I truly believe she is the only one there that knows what she is doing. Get some more competent employees to help this poor woman! Especially on a Saturday morning! As an aside, the people renting from this location are especially rude. If you are a female from out of town, prepare to be stared at by the male locals like you are from Mars. If only the woman is working, be prepared to see blatant sexism and rudeness from the older gentleman customers. read more

I rented a car from the Vincennes, Indiana office this week - after calling to reserve a vehicle. When I arrived, there was one vehicle available to fit my needs as requested. It was so dirty I could not - and can still not - detect the actual color of the vehicle. I asked why it was so dirty and was told it was cold outside and they hadn't cleaned it. I ask if the inside had been cleaned and was told it had been. The seats are stained and objects were left in the front and back seats. It had obviously not been cleaned. The girl offered to clean the windshield - since I could not see out of it - but told me she needed to have more solvent put in. When she returned, she informed me the vehicle had been in Florida and had solvent in it with no antifreeze - so it may freeze up on me. She left the vehicle running and told me it was ready. I started down the road and noticed the alert "no key detected." I had to turn around and go back inside and wait until she was available to ask for a key to the vehicle. I was glad I noticed the alert before I got too far. I have never driven a car so filthy - it is embarrassing and irritating to think I am paying to drive it. If there was anyplace else close to rent a vehicle from, I would rent from them and not Vincennes office. read more

This place has to be the worst car rental place I have ever tried to work with. I was told I would have a car on Tuesday, didn't happen, promised one on Wednesday morning...never heard from them so I called at noon....only to be told them say they was sorry but all they had was a truck that I could use but would have to drive back to them the next day to exchange it for the vehicle I was suppose to have (it is over 70 miles round trip). They assured me I would have one on Thursday morning....well 11:30 on Thursday I get a call saying they are sorry but there is only one person in the office and they are unable to pick me up...I thought that was part of there advertisement..they would pick you up?? Well needless to say I took my business elsewhere...and I hope I never have to work with this place again. read more

It took several phone calls to even reserve a car. The first person I spoke with had no clue how to answer any of my questions. I was told I would be charged for a 24 hour rental starting at 5 pm on a Friday and when I went to return the vehicle on Saturday the bill stated that I picked up the car at 12:25 pm. I was then charged additional fees because I returned it at 12:50 pm on Saturday. I returned it to a different location. So I was already being charged more for one way. Then I was told they couldn't close out my bill because I didn't rent it from their location. When I called the location I rented the car from, I got another story. The other store closed it out and put that I returned it at 1:50 pm (which is still earlier than 5 pm...and yet I'm still paying additional fees). The lack of consistency and communication is absolutely ridiculous. I will think twice before using Enterprise again. What a headache!! read more
