In addition, I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A REFUND and to call the office for the overage, but NO. These people should not do business in our town. They do nothing but lie and cheat. The van they put me in had no gas cap, bluetooth didn't work, seats were stained so there were gross seat covers, headphones for the systems didn't work, so much more. It looked like someone's personal vehicle and still had food in the backseat. I was put into this POS van because the first car they tried to put me into had such terrible alignment that I nearly got into an accident within 10 minutes of leaving the lot. DO NOT let them tell you something without verifying it on the forms they fill out. Don't let the good ol boy or the fact that these people are old be the reason you put your trust in them. It's not worth what it will cost you.

It all started during the ice storm [1/3 - 1/5] i got a Chrysler van as a insurance rental due to being backed into. The van kept saying it was in a collision and keep locking up the brakes and correcting my steering during a snow storm with my 1.5yr old in the car. Causing it to slide all over the place and almost ditching the car, hitting posts, and others. I made calls they said they would not shut those features off. You need their code. It's like they wanted us to wreak the van. They wanted 600 for insurance. I could not afford that, plus the other persons insurance was paying for vehicle rental. I signed that I didn't take it, but I thought the insurance company coverd it all? Did last time i did this. My vehicle was ready 1/9 for pick up the clinton office closes at 11am-1pm. I call Warrensburg office got told to drop in the box and walk. I had my 1.5yr old with me. I called corporate and they told me the same. A guy who worked there called me saying " they are small store, only 20 cars, and that's why they can't help me" it's told him off and said "do better". I asked if I could leave car at repair shop, they said only if the shop will sign a form making them liable for the vehicle and dropping it off. They said no. walked with my son over a mile back to my car when a older lady picked us up and drove us the last mile, 2 mile trip. My son was shaking and quiet. When I called the last time after hours, it went direct to someone who informed me that nothing I had reported went to corporate. It got routed directly to the Clinton offices and region. The manager in Warrensburg was one of the ones who told me to walk, I found out. She made sure it went direct to corporate after I stated that I would sue if we get sick and see them all in court. I was not nice to any of them except the last lady who helped me. I'm supposed to get a call tomorrow or Monday. Let's see how this goes. Advised our family had changed plans and will be in a different city and since it was only 24 ours ago that I called, he should refund. He refused, swore at me and said he had been getting lots of calls to book spots. I replied, then refund me and you can book the same one again. He said, oh no, no guarantee I can rent the space now.
