Is give zero stars if I could. Used to rent from this place for business and they never have the car you reserve. It's always the same answer....we only have a mini van available. So I quit using them for several years. Recently used them for a one off rental because they are close to the hose and guess what happened...yep rented an SUV and they caked me 30 min before pick up and the only have minivans! I reserved a rental on Dec 8th 2025 for Dec 24th-26th from Jax to Jupiter for family visit and 10 days later they contact me to say they cannot provide a truck nor any other type of vehicle. DON'T RENT FROM THE ENTERPRISE CAR RENTAL AT 456 STATE ROAD 13, ST. JOHNS, FL 32259. I rented a car there on December 8th, 2025, and returned the car on December 15, 2025. I called their office at approx 1pm on Dec 15 to confirm there would be someone available to give me a ride home due to the items I had to unload from the car. Enterprise promotes in their advertising that they will pick you up and drop you off when you rent from them. I was assured by DESTINY CRUZ, the assistant manager, that there would be someone available for a ride as long as I arrived by 5pm. I arranged my entire day around the 5pm arrival time, and upon arrival at 4:55pm, I was told by the Assistant Manager, DESTINY CRUZ, that no one was available to give me a ride home. She did not care that I had called earlier to confirm someone would be available. Very rude and a poor experience. I will not be renting from Enterprise ever again, and will relate this issue to anyone else I know who needs a rental car. read more

I never have an issue with this location, they are always very helpful and pleasant. I have had different situations from reserving early to last min. Situations with my cars going into the shop and they always make it happen for me. Decent but they seem understaffed. Called many times and was placed on hold after phone rang for what seemed like forever. Conveniently located and I am sure the need is just a constant in such a heavily populated area. Once you get in, things seem to run smoothly. I did learn you can asked to be placed on a wait list for a different car if you have to be in something for a long time and don't really like what you end up with. read more

We have been long time members and using enterprise for our car rental needs. We made reservations to this Fruit Cove location online a month prior to our upcoming trip. At two different timepoints, Chris from this location called and told us that the vehicle class we had reserved would not be available and to contact other locations to find the vehicle class. While I appreciate the call, it was poor customer service to just leave it at that rather than finding our vehicle class. We contacted enterprise regional and they "were going to look into it and call us back". Needless to say we did not receive a call back. We called this location again when we updated the reservation to another vehicle class, and the gentleman said they had the vehicle class available. Again we received a call a few days later from Chris stating that the newly picked vehicle class was not available. We contacted regional which placed an urgent request to address the matter. We have not received a call. We ended up just cancelling the reservation and going with another company that guaranteed when we made the reservation that they would have the vehicle class needed. I believe this particular enterprise location is acting with poor communication between its employees and the manager. Also lack of customer service, especially with no attempt to honor the reservation or even assist to find the vehicle class needed. The website still says that you can reserve the particular vehicle class for the time frame we were requesting. One star is too much for this location. I think enterprise HQ should look into Chris and the management team to assess their practice and customer service skills. read more

This place is awful. I called from the repair shop as their recording says "we got you!" And was put on hold for 45 minutes... finally gave up and got an uber! The repair shop confirmed that they never are able to get through either! read more

The worst enterprise I have ever been to. The car is never ready for your reservation time, but if you reserve too early and don't show until later they'll give your car away. Their excuse is that they are understaffed every single time I've rented from here. If you need a decent car in a timely fashion, DO NOT GO HERE. You'd be better off driving to the airport and renting from National since it would actually be quicker. read more

Edit: The manager contacted me personally and worked with me to rectify the problems that I had regarding my rentals. I had three cars in the span of 14 days. None of the cars had gas in them when I got them, so I immediately had to stop and fill them up. One had a chip in the windshield when I got it. The second was dirty inside. The third car smelled like cigarette smoke and ended up with a flat tire alarm going off, which is what led me to take the car back early. I was told that it was "probably just a faulty sensor in the car." read more

I've been renting from this location for some time now (weekly for business). Ever since the management change, pick up and drop off have been unreliable. The guy who answered the phone was rude. He put me on hold without even asking me to hold. I was talking and then I heard hold music. I was already having an awful day and he made it even worse. My warranty company told me to use Enterprise because they were directly linked and it should be a seamless process. However, the guy kept saying I needed to call this place or that and have this or that done. Finally I called the warranty company on another phone while I had this guy on my cell phone. The warranty company couldn't figure out why he seemed so clueless. They provided the authorization info that I had previously given to him. He then put us on hold for about 10-15 mins. When he finally came back he said it was taken care of. No apologies for the long hold time or his initial behavior, just it's taken care of. In the meantime I had escalated my issue with the warranty company. I think they may have contacted the store manager. She called me and apologized for the issues and said she would have the driver come pick me up within a few minutes. He was there pretty quickly (the car was covered in dog hair but it wasn't the one they rented to me).I appreciated the manager taking the time to try and turn it around. Rented a van for a family vacation because that's what will carry the family. We've rented from this SR-13 location several times because it's right here near the house. The staff is always pleasurable and we've always had great service. Will definitely rent from there again. P.S. They had the best competitive rates. read more

Horrible experience. Called their customer service and reserved a car. Told the guy on the phone I was in town on leave from the Army and just needed it for a couple of days. He said no worries and I just needed my flight itinerary. I go in to pick up the car and I was then informed that since my flight left Saturday and I had to rent the car until then and I'm not allowed to return the car on Friday. My flight leaves at 0700 and I wouldn't be needing it and she told me it didn't matter and i would be charged the whole day Saturday too! Absolutely insane! Enterprise has made it difficult on numerous occasions for me to rent a car here in Jacksonville and in Kansas. read more

Horrible ongoing experience. While in a hurry to leave town, my wife stopped in on 6-16-17 and reserved a truck with her credit card, then left to run errands. I showed up an hour later to pick up the truck and it was a piece of junk. 1. The inside smelled like pot. 2. The top of the cab had a dent in it. When I went back inside, the manager Cassie apologized and gave me a nicer truck. 3 weeks later we get a call from Cassie telling us that we're being charged for all the damages. We never touched the truck, never even had the keys. 0 miles period. Now their claims expert Mauricio Solano has decided that since my wife didn't inspect it well enough to notice the damage on the roof. its our fault and we must pay $5200.00 or it will go against our insurance. They all admit that we never took possession but there's nothing they can do. I did find out today that they wrote on the return ticket that we put 33 miles on the vehicle. I have used Enterprise several times in the past and have found them to be convenient and a good value. However, I needed to rent a car for one day, the day after Memorial Day, due to a car repair. Although the employees are always nice and helpful, I was charged $100 for a one day rental. The employees could not explain why, nor were they empowered to do anything about it. I just had to deal with it. The next day when I returned the car, the lady in front of me got an SUV for $45 per day. I have no idea why I was price gouged and neither did the non-empowered employees. I will be using Avis in the future. read more

Great customer service! Very tentative to your needs & wants in a vehicle. Both representatives are very friendly. They go above & beyond.

Very friendly and responsive. Vehicle was as described. It seems that most of the time now you leave with a partial tank of fuel and bring it back in similar state. I do not like this policy as it always adds an inconvenient stop early into my travel. Three very minor issues; there was only one person working on what seemed to be an active Sat am. I had been in the area the night before and had seen at least 3 people at the same location. The leads to the second; there was an indication that a courtesy call was made allowing us to obtain the vehicle at end of day prior to our 9:00am appt. As said earlier, I was right next door that day and it would have been very convenient for us (and likely for Sat am staff as well). We were not able to find any mssg or missed call on any of our contact numbers. Last there is no drop box for Sunday uncomplicated returns. Bottom line is this is a convenient location with a wide array of vehicles and hard-working, courteous staff. read more
