I was staying next door at the HIlton and decided to reserve a car here because the Avis/Budget at my hotel was all spoken for. The reservation system using the mobile app was pretty seamless and didn't take very long to book. My only caution about this place is that they are closed on weekends. Luckily, we were not leaving until Tuesday, so booking this for Monday worked out for us. Also, most tourist places are not as crowded on a Monday. The check out process was great. The rep explained everything to us and told us how to get out and return the car. Though, the parking garage is a little creepy if you are there all alone returning the car by yourself. One thing I have to ding them for is that one of the key fobs eventually failed due to low battery. Luckily, he gave me 2 fobs and I was able to use the other one for the rest of my rental. Car was ready when we showed up! There was no line and the guy was polite. Signed papers and was out of there in 5-10 minutes. Drop off after hours was available and straight forward. The best reveal car experience in a long time! read more

The clerk seems to always be busy with something else/unavailable based on my experiences. Just a heads up if you are on a tight on time, expect to wait and aim to get there a half hour earlier. read more

If you don't feel stupid this outlet will help you feel that way. No one was at the desk. No instructions on where to leave the car. When the clerk returned he ignored our suggestion that a sign might help indicate who to call or where to leave the car. I'm sure he doesn't hate people, he just seems to hate people who rent a car here. While waiting for anyone to come to work we called the help line and they told us we could return to car to another branch. Nice of them to offer not to charge us for the late return because we have to drive to the distant location. But no worry. The other location was closed. Well, don't I feel stupid. read more

In preparation for our trip, I called this Enterprise location ahead of time to verify that they would be able to pick us up from our hotel. They told me that since they were a busy location they would not be able to pick us up, but that they would reimburse us for the cost of a taxi from our hotel to their office. When the time came to pick up our rental car, they told us that they would NOT pick us up or reimburse us for the taxi to their location because our hotel was too far away -- so we ended up paying a $37 taxi ride just to pick up the car. After signing the paperwork, we were given the keys and a description of the car and where it would be found in the garage below. They did not do the standard walk-around to inspect for damage, but told us that the car was already inspected and had no damage (it actually had a large scratch along the side, but we were told this was no big deal). After some searching for the parking spot and the car that matched the given description, we discovered that 1) the keys we were given belonged to an SUV, not a car (something we weren't told beforehand, since I had reserved a compact car) and 2) it was both a different colour and parked in different location from what we were told. If I hadn't pushed the panic button to locate the vehicle, how would they have expected us to find it?? After driving the vehicle out of the underground garage, we discovered that it was dirty both outside and inside -- it had literal dirt smeared across the back carpet and leftover garbage in the side pockets. All these things alone are not really a big deal, but together the miscommunications and lack of cleaning between rentals made this Enterprise location seem unprofessional and disorganized. Enterprise is our go-to rental car company and normally has awesome service. This is unfortunately the worst rental car experience we've had with them. read more

Nice location in Downtown Quebec. Pickup promised in 20 minutes, but waited more than 45 minutes for pickup at the pier... We were picked up in the vehicle we had rented, so that was convenient! Quick formalities at counter - counter personnel pleasant. read more

We recently rented a car at the Delta Hotel location in Quebec. It was a Saturday morning and we waited in line for our car for 1.5 hours. It appeared that people with reservations, without reservations, and those returning cars were all in that same line. There was only one counter person for everyone. She was good-natured and very helpful and experienced, but clearly the location was understaffed. When we finally reached the counter the only car available to us was a Sedona, which was much larger than we needed, as we had reserved an economy car. It turned out the person behind us in line was returning a midsize car. The counter person had a quick look at the returning car and turned it over to us. It wasn't filthy, but it hadn't been cleaned. She did her best to accommodate our needs and we were very happy with that. She was efficient and professional. We were on the road after 1.5 hours and the car worked out very well for us. All in all we are still happy with Enterprise, but they need more counter people on a week-end morning. read more
